Honest question here... What do Bomber supporters really think of this guy?

Have seen him play live twice this year. Is more than happy to get in the face of the opposition and be tough if there is a little bit of a fracas, but when he is under a high ball or a tough ground-level gather, he doesn't seem anywhere as hard.

I say that as I sat 5 rows back when he was making an utter d1ck of himself trying to entice Murphy into doing something rash, resulting in a Carlton free kick, leading to a goal.

He's 22 now and has played over 50 games.

I know I'm going to cop an earful on this one...

I've been saying it since the Gold Coast game - He's the worst player I can think of to have kicked 8 goals in a game.

He's a knob, and not worth it.

Both. Defiantly a knob, but a knob with talent. Need to be more team orientated though.

Don't think you'll cop an earful.

He has a lot of ability, however still a long way to go to continue to do the team things and be harder at the ball.

He has improved a lot in those areas this year and if he continues to improve then he is worth it.

No doubt he seems a knob though.

Comes across as a knob but then again i don't know him. Has plenty of talent but is too inconsistent and sometimes play selfish footy. Don't know what to make of him. Needs to be serious if he wants to keep his spot on the list though. James won't take much more crap.

Ahhh.. Kyle Kyle. Heaps of talent, has a great set shot, can keep his feet and has a bag of tricks but his flaws are his inconsistency and also his selfishness.

Even though he has a improved a lot this year and the whole 'orange boots look at me' thing has disappeared under James Hird and co. Still needs to work on the defensive aspect of his game and be more consistent.

I love watching him play TBH. Also FWIW a few months ago (I think) Zaharakis was interview by Welsh and Zaharakis says that Riemers is the smartest guy on the team.

If I had to bet, I'd say that he was having a dig at him in the vein of "Cameron Ling is voted the AFL's sexiest player", but even if that isn't true, there are plenty of intelligent people who are complete and total knobs.

He does not follow the team rules, so much so he now has a reputation for it.
His ability says you need to persist but he needs his head checked and to be treated like the child he acts like.

Maybe hirdy can teach him with rewards like.... "kyle you can only wear your orange boots if you follow the team rules for one whole game" "and if you don't do the team thing, you have your colourful boots confiscated"

IRL trolling :D

While the 2 qualities (being a knob, and being worth it) aren't mutually exclusive, being a knob may prove to be his undoing. Fevola anyone? He was worth it for Carlton, doesn't mean it all ended well though.
There is a reason that clubs take personality into account when recruiting. He must have really impressed the recruiting dept at Essendon to have been drafted despite his obvious knob qualities. Wonder if he'll ever deliver?
