Hopefully he will learn from this rather than sliding into extremism (as he has become something of a poster child).

If he wants to be a millionare by the time he's 21, he starts his own instagram, YT channel and Twitter account, commenting on 'social issues'.

He'd have a million followers within a few months, despite literally being a stupid 17 year old kid.

How to succeed, American style.

The Left in America have just had a seizure ..."Sleepy Joe'' might need a Lawyer?! A few media outlets will be shaking in their boots also?

I mean - Trump was a bafoon and he was pillared for commenting on the case - haven't heard much about Biden's comments - but it's supposed to be a moral government and what on earth was he doing? Idiot!

Is there anything to be gained by sharing these hyperbolic hot takes, particular from someone so close to the issue that their views are compromised?

The internet is a cesspool today. Normally I love a good shitfight with twits trying to out-stupid each other. There's something sad about all this though, particularly watching Americans actively sow the seeds of further discontent and polarisation over this.

You do see the difference between a member of the Executive (with the power to pardon people, and to appoint judges) commenting on:

1) An active case currently before the Courts, and

2) A case that has concluded.

Yeah?

I view the reaction of the parents of one of the deceased as relevant to the verdict.

I also think that they make valid points about the sad state of US society.

That's why I posted it.

Maybe if your son wasnt such a piece of sh*t he wouldn't have ended up dead. Seems like your son got away with it every time.

Funny how in all those circumstances of criminal behaviour he was never shot dead by police
No, that would take a 17 year old who was out playing good cop with his beloved assault rifle.

Splitting hairs again Malifice The poster was mentioning that stores all over the Western World had run out of straws was spot on.
The law acquitted Rittenhouse because it was clear cut case of self defense. Biden is supposed to be a 'unifier' and should keep his mouth shut and respect the Law that he bestows. Is he dogwhistling for retribution? If there is is there blood on his hands?

Much of the BLM movement is unhinged - in Australia as much as anywhere. How they linked the death of George Floyd and ran with a fictional narrative of black deaths in custody - that's something that's supposed to be overrepresented and racially motivated - during a pandemic was almost a bigger disgrace as anti vaxxer riots earlier this year.

I denounce all extremism - and so should you.

I'm not sure what your question is. Have you not come across troll farms being reported on? The Russians and Chinese are responsible for running many of them, sometimes within their borders and sometimes externally, with the express purpose of sowing political discord in the West.

Calm down for a second, so you think there are Chinese troll farms out there right now, either cheering for or railing against the verdict?

Did he? My understanding was the armed victim didnt even have his firearm drawn.
Check this out.

Money quote from the defense lawyer: “It wasn’t until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him, with your gun (and your hands down) pointed at him, that he fired? Right?” To which Grosskreutz answered: “Correct.”

It will be interesting. I'm sure, as has been pointed out, the nutters on the right will want to embrace him, include him, interview him, etc. If he allows that to happen, he won't have learnt much at all and will go further down the rabbit hole.

If he truly wants to learn, he'd be better off slipping away from the limelight and trying to quietly rebuild his life.
Nothing to re-build. He defended himself against an imminent attack from some violent looters. He acted in a way every person should in that circumstance. Hope he sues the s**t out of the lefty media outlets who defamed him and lives his life off that compensation.
