Certainly looking like the Raiders and Chargers are favourites to move to Los Angeles. If the OC Register report is to go by, the Carson project has around 17-20 "YES" definitive votes, whilst the Rams have between 6-9, most likely the latter given it's widely believed both sides have enough votes to block each project from moving forward. The Iger move is a big one though.

It is WAY too early to even begin speculating on free agency this upcoming off-season. That being said, I would only go after him if he was released. Crabtree would be my #1 option, though ideally we'd get Megatron in addition to Crabtree.

Would love to keep Crabtree.

Very reliable.

I know it is like playing Madden, but imagine having Cooper, Crabtree and Megatron.

CB CB SS FS 4-3 type RDE or 3-4 OLB pass rush specialist RB

Assuming we re-sign Crabtree, Penn, Tuck and Woodson...

I think we need 2 corners, 1 safety (potentially who can play a hybrid linebacker role), a mike backer who can play all 3 downs, and an additional pass rusher on defense (I would LOVE Bruce Irvin). As for the offense, I think we need a supporting RB for Murray, a RG (though I've heard good things about Feliciano for next year), a RT (Watson is injury prone and I don't trust Howard yet), and a slot receiver.

Best part about this is that the majority of these positions, if not all of them, can be addressed in this upcoming off-season. The list of needs we have has significantly decreased, and I hate this AFL term, but we are definitely at the beginning of our "Premiership Window."

We have a lot of money to spend. Just need to be sure of getting the right player. Lofton had questions about his ability before he came to us.

Which is exactly why we will see another shitload of mid-tiered free agency signings. The way Reggie structures his contracts is smart in that after one year they can be cut without cap penalty. The only big contracts I ever want to see, are to players who have spent multiple years in our system with proven effectiveness.

Yeh, I reckon we are doing well so far to not overspend like the old days on cap heavy money grabbers whose performance rarely is worth the value. Rewarding guys in the future that we draft (Carr/Mack/Coopers etc) is where we need to get. Hopefully spread the wealth.

Gabe Holmes on the roster. Could add something.

With incumbent Mychal Rivera, free-agent addition Lee Smith, and new draft pick Clive Walford, the Raiders appear pretty set at tight end.

But one undrafted rookie could make his case to stick as the team's fourth option this summer during training camp.

Purdue's Gabe Holmes looks like a basketball player at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds. He was Preseason Mackey Award Watch player in 2013, but a broken wrist interrupted what would've been a breakout season. He struggled to regain his star form in 2014, and that's why no team selected him this season.

If healthy, Holmes has a lot of Julius Thomas-like qualities. He played as both an in-line tight end and a flex option, but he admitted the latter might've adversely impacted his draft stock.

"Playing in two different offenses, I lined up a lot in the slot as a standup tight end," Holmes told the National Football Post. "I have strengths lining up in the slot and creating separation. I played in a pro-style offense, lining up tight or in the wing or in the slot. I feel like I can make plays. . . I haven't scratched my ceiling yet."

His frame would suggest the Raiders see him as a blocker first, though. They signed Smith this offseason to be their blocking tight end, but the better man usually wins during summer practices
