MGS v CGS was a thriller, with cgs just getting over the line (68-62) with a minute to go due to some dubious umpiring decisions. Great game of schoolboy footy.

Wesley beat a lack-lustre Xavier outfit who were focusing on smashing goon after the game rather then playing footy. Then again the efforts on the beer bong that night were poor... so there isn't many positives for the day besides Ulbrick picking up 6 bitties.
excuses excuses notorious big, i have some mates who were playing for wesley.. and they were just thinking about the piss up just as much as xavs were ..Wesley won fair and square and were the better team on the day. Wesley also had 5 players out and Xavier had a full strength team.. so you cant make excuses now. Bad luck mate.. but the truth hurts
and what a game, Carey led by 24pts at half time but a lapse in focus and a strong wind enabled skevs back into it by 3q time and what followed was a tense last quarter with carey coming through
full strength?, sos, ambrose and romanin were out mate.

hahahhahaha. It's funny that u suddenly pipe up... maybe because ur teams been in a rut for the last 15 years. It's good u have something to celebrate about because it's likely u'll never beat Xavier again. I have some mates aka the whole team playing for xavs... who were thinking more then your mates were about getting pissed

Also, you D.O.S is a disgrace - swearing his head off all game whenever Xavier got a goal or a rare free kick. Hibbins should be banned from games, I could hear it from the other side of the ground. Pathetic.

CGS 11.8 (74) def. MGS 10.8 (68) by 1 goal at Todd Road Oval.
Goals: CGS: Yaman 4, Sandilands 3, Gilchrist 2, Game 1, Sinclair 1.
5 - Sandilands (CGS) - Went nuts in the middle quarters, was the catalyst for the Caulfield comeback in the second half.
4 - Risol (CGS) - Along with Kremmer stopped nearly every forward thrust for Melbourne from qtr time onwards.
3 - Kremmer (CGS) - Ditto Risol.
2 - McClardy (MGS) - Only played in the first half due to injury and if he had've stayed on in the second I'm not sure Caulfield could've came back. 22 possies before half time, just incredible.
1 - Shaw (MGS) - Big red was very good, tried hard all day and kicked one of the best goals of the year in the final term.

there were some very suss umpiring decisions at the end of the match. gilchrist took about 20 steps before he kicked the final goal and in the final minute a caulfield player grabbed alex carters head when he didn't have the ball and there was no call. It was a great game though. Tilly yaman what a wanka, he took a mark in the goalsquare and then kicks the ball over the net onto the roof of a warehouse. complete tool

WTF - Shaw was clearly better than any CGS players, kicking 2 goals and racking up over 40 possies, totally dominating the game.
If McClardy hadnt got injured, he would have done the same too. You dont have a clue south swans

lol your right. he has no clue. its quite funny how he does it with every caulfiled game. i didnt see this game, but by the sounds of things it was extremely tight yet he has 4 caulfield players in the top 5, and the 1 melbourne player he listed played only 1 half. thank god your "commentating & game analysis" career is over. hopefully

South Swans you have never had a clue on who to give votes. Even in the Geelong game two weeks ago you were giving votes to players that only had animpact in the first quarter and then went quiet.

hahahah fair call. We were shit house. Then again wesley are a bunch of duds and have been for the last 30 years... something went wrong for the xavs.
