Who is everyone tipping?

I will go with Brendan Kimber. Ticks all the boxes
a) plays in the midfield
b) gets plenty of it
c) will stand out with his dash
d) wears white boots? (don't know about that one)

Wouldn't surprise me to see Ben Dwyer lead the count early until he went down with his broken jaw. Stood out like dogs balls taking big grabs all over the park and we actually winning a few games at that stage. Could easily poll 10 votes in the first 4 rounds.

I think Brendan Kimber will be right up there also.

I'll try and pick the trifecta.... here are my selections

in no particular order
M.Wade
B.Kimber
C.Urie
M.Robinson

I will go woth B Kimber aswell...

Cora Lyn have won 16 games from 17. So you would think they would have 2 of the top 3 vote getters in all those games. Kimber has been in CL's best 2 every game this year except round 1 when he played at CHB. So that puts him in the 28-38 vote range.

(Surkin he wears Blue boots)

Chris Urie- would be very similiar. Being Neerim's best when they win, so most likely getting 3.But also being their best when they lose would see him also get 1 voters and sneaking in for 2 in a dominant game....

Matt Wade- Same as Kimber

Neither of these 3 players talk back to umpires and play very fairly, So this also gets a tick.

When is the League vote count ? If it was last night does anyone know results?

I'm pretty sure it's tomorrow night lefty.

Urie will win it, whether he should or not I'm not sure.

Could be any number of players for the placings.
Cora Lynn could possibly have 3 or 4 right up there. Robinson, Horaczko, Kimber and Runnalls.
Wade and Dore will poll well for NNG, Williams should be right up there but won't be. Quinn should be right amongst it before getting injured.
A bit of a smokey might be Daniel Charles from Buln. Gets looked after by the umps and if Buln's best are anything to go by he's been in the best every game he's played. Not sure whether they win enough games for him to get the 3's though.
Hinkley (NNS), Eastwell (Gar), Campbell (Cat), Corrie Wilson (Nyora) and S.Brewster (Dusties) you'd think would all be reasonable chances.

I'll have a stab:

1. C.Urie (NNS)
2. M.Robinson (Cora)
3. M.Campbell (Cat)

Smokey - D.Charles (Buln)

Yeah Urie will be right up there again Tumbleweed. Not sure he has had as good a season as 2010 but still the umpires prefer to give the votes to big names when in doubt.

Problem for the CL and NNG blokes is they will be taking votes off each other. Urie doesn't really have that problem.

Winners

Rhys Morgan 27 (3 votes V Lang Lang in Round 19)
Wade 25
Charles 25
Lehmann 22

Urie was way down the list with 10 or something.
Was suprised that Robinson didnt do better.
Kimber went ok but took a while to get going.

Ben Dwyer breaking his jaw was fortunate for the rest in my opinion. He was on 17 after round 8 with to Morgans 13. Finished on 18 picking another vote up in round 17 or 18.

Rhys Morgan also got 2 or 3 votes in round 1 in the Magoos.

not to much of a surprise there, as the umpires love him.
i don't think i have ever seen a free kick payed against him.
he should have been reported against us . all that being said he is a very good player

I knew the umpires would like Ben Dwyer but 18 votes wow. Doubt he will even poll that in the club.

Also Morgan's 3 votes against us in the last game I expected that as well because he kicked 3 goals in the last quarter when the game was up for grabs but before that he had been well beaten for 3 quarters.

Really makes you wonder if the umpires have any idea at all.

where can you find the finally tally for the count? will it be up on the gazzette website or something?

why was robbie dericks playing two's all year? or was he in and out of the seniors?

What a joke. Don't know where you're from Donny but if not NNG, then he should've got weeks against us too. Forearm to Shannon Stocco's head after he got rid of the footy 2-3 seconds earlier. Knocked him out completely, causing him to miss the next game. Umpire saw it too, coz he paid a free kick for too high. That's a big enough disgrace as it is, let alone him polling enough votes to win it.

Another tidbit.

I reckon Russ Lehmann polled in more games than anyone else. Only had a couple of 2s and 3s. I think he got 5 single votes before he actually got a 2 or a 3.

I reckon it wont be far off before he wins one.
Lehmann should been in a better comp, just like he's dad ,who i think towl up mill hanna in a pre season game and kicked a bag on him,but didn't go on with it for some reason.Has Morgan won 2 now?
