The good ones
I have gotten through my life without ever eating one of these, but doing the week's shopping, on a spur of the moment I thought I would give one a go, just curious what they are like because one of my housemates swears by them. Bought a thai red chicken curry one.

I was amazed how good it was- I was expecting something like airline food, but it was genuinely a very good meal, ready in 5 minutes, and at $6.50 far lighter on the pocket than ordering in pizza. Tasted far better than anything I have ever readi-microwaved.

Did I just luck out and get a good one, or are they all this good? Any suggestions or recommendations as to the best ones?

They are hit or miss but it really does depend on your tastes. I love the Satay noodles one but some of the others are just horrid.

Quite a few of them are pretty good. I don't mind the butter chicken at all. They're stupidly expensive though, compared to cooking yourself.

I find they're great for sticking in the freezer for days when you get home late and can't be arsed cooking. As you say, they're a vast improvement over fast food.

I live on these and the weightwatchers ones. Low in fat, and a I have a few favourites: beef cannelloni, beef lasagne, chili con carne, moroccan lamb and cous cous, spaghetti and meatballs.
