I've heard from a reputable source that this supposed "Boys Club" is driving away dozens of posters and at the end of this season a few captains will be standing down because they are sick of the horse hockey.

What the League really needs is a handful of posters to focus a large part of their life toward researching and destabilising this group with weekly media pieces, I also theorise to counter a group which promotes a negative exclusive environment within the League would be countered with the founding of another exclusive group but with lesser posters than those who are supposedly in the Boys Club; that is if the Boys Club even exists.

That said, from my experience, Swamprats threads are the place to be every week. I’m not saying that because I’m a Swamprat, more, there’s always 10-15 swamprats every week, talking crap and having fun.

I think a few teams are lacking the comeraderie that the Swamprats are at the moment.

I agree with the Swamprats threads being the place to be. They always have something positive to talk about. I know the league revolves around banter but the Swamprats aren't intimidating and just happy to chat about things and fun to banter with.

If one believes and complains the league is lacking in certain areas - that's the problem if anything.

Complaining without any action. What are you (not directly you ND) contributing to others entertainment? Do something constructive besides pissing and moaning.

I always find this the most piss-poor of responses, and the laziest to be honest. You're the league administrator and yet the league has dived off a cliff in terms of enjoyment and fun since you took charge. And yet you put the blame on everyone else. What are YOU doing to motivate people to get involved? What are YOU doing to spark controversy, talking points, and changing up the formula?

Don't sit there, scratch your ass, see how it smells and then roll over. Do something and actually respond to a pretty well thought out thread that didn't go as hard as it should have out of - I assumption - respect to you. Which you haven't returned in the slightest.

Stand up and be counted for or piss and get off the pot. There are others that could do twice the job you're currently doing.

You might want to look up the definition of failure. Once you get past the description of your tenure as administrator, you'll see that nothing I did at the Gumbies falls under that definition. During my time as captain I took a basketcase bunch of inactive and turned it into an active, exciting young group of posters who made it to a GF. The fact it fell apart immediately after I left indicates the role I played in holding the club together.

I enjoy your faux cattiness though, if you tried this more often this league would be a brighter place.

I almost joined the Gumbies in Season 20/21 - if I recall correctly, it was all Hatchy1992 who almost got me over the line. I didn't even get a hello from you.

Seems to me and everyone who isn't silly that it was all Hatchy.

I will take some time in the coming weeks to look back at Hatchy's captaincy at the time and look to employ similar strategies within the league to improve it and its posters.

It's pretty obvious that those saying the league is no fun are playing for the wrong club. I'm enjoying the season.
Sure, some of the opposition has been a bit disappointing but there's always something interesting happening within the Demons camp to liven things up.

Have any of you who are finding the SFA boring tried any of the following to liven things up?

• Trade a league legend like okeydoke7 out of your club for an inactive player to improve overall posting quality for your team?
• Drop a club legend like Smartys Power for the Heritage round?
• Submit a team sheet late to incur a 4 point penalty?
• Blame the admin for your inability to do something fun? Oh, some of you did try this one. Anyway, I'm not missing out on this fun. F*** you Hate

Is it more controversy that you want? Then do something more controversial.
Do you want to hang shit on Tarkyn_24 just for fun? Then do it. Does it get more fun than that? I think not.
