Fact is I am a Victorian, I grew up here and love all the traditional clubs I support the Eagles but I'm not one eyed by a long shot. But not everyone has to like richmond, it's not my fault they are crap ..no need to get so personal and hateful..it's just a game you know!
I imagine alot of eagles fans are Richmond turncoats? I know of 3 who have and imagine there is quite a few more out there who jumped ship in 87. lol

I use to be a Richmond fan until the mighty Giants came out.
There are 12 teams IMO that could make the finals, if we dont make it like anyone else who supports those 12 teams will be disappointed, the big difference this year is that everyone feels that Richmond are arriving, its just the critics that want to bump it up in the hope that we fail so they can cash in on another Richmond meltdown. As for Hardwick he will get another year even if we dont make finals he actually deserves it considering he cleaned out a FULL club list in 3 years to make it competitive, they only thing that would stop that would be a bottom 4 finish or less than 7 wins.
Here's my prediction, we will lose to Carlton Round 1 by about 4 goal, the critics will get on and have Hardwick in their sights but then watch them slowly crawl back in their holes as the year progresses, the funny thing is if we do sneak into the 8 watch the media and the critics jump on the bandwagon like they had never left.

Not me, I never followed footy much before the Eagles joined in 1987 ( I was living in Perth then and did for many years), it wasn't something my parents went to or took us to when we were kids, but I always loved watching it on tv even though I never really had a passion in any team ingrained in me. I still love the huge games between the huge clubs..a Collingwood/Carlton GF gets me going just think about it, especially now with Mick V Bucks, I hope we get to see one soon..though saying that on a richmond board might get me lynched.
I admit I dont like richmond, they are the team I laugh at but I don't apologise for that, its something in footy that just comes natural and you can't explain it, a dislike for another club or 2. I'll try not to 'bait' or 'troll' but I cant help enjoying their failure year after year almost as much as the dockers
