Burley footballs are sh$thouse the worst i have ever kicked. bring back the Sherrin. They must be cheap as or have a huge sponsor in country footy. The sooner they go the better!!!!!!!

One or either of these teams will definitely finish top 5 as for your comment crowd may throw money at you to put clothes back on!!

Reports are Burley kicked in a 5 figure amount for sponsorship of BFL & LPFL

Fair enough then. Sherrin probably just took it for granted that they had the market sewn up. I've actually done an about turn with the Burleys. I think they are definetly improved since last year and I was dead set against them being used earlier in the year.

:thumbsu: To Burley.

There is nothing wrong with the Burleys. i had 3 season in WAFL and 1 in SANFL where they use them. The stay in shape longer than Sherrins.
Dont blame the footies on poor players disposal!!!

Harry, you're kidding yourself if you think Burly footies are any good compared to a Sherrin.

BTW What's your link to the LPFL?

i have to agree, harry im not sure what planet u r on but burleys belong at the tip, if they were such a goods ball wouldnt the afl be using them, stick with the sherrin all day long, it is heavier and spins better in the wind, it makes a mockery of the burley, cheers to the sherrin :thumbsu:

Any truth in the rumour that NAV copped a $250 fine at the tribunal for not telling the truth about saturdays game against c/l

Sherrins are better than Burleys but to their credit they are improving each year. I'm happy to support any company that pumps money into the district comps!

dont know about the second, but i heard the big man matt mootta stasse got a couple of weeks!!!! hahaha good work stasse

I've heard off somebody high up in the VCFL that if you get over 16 weeks suspended in your career, you get a life ban. The rule is to be brought in soon if not already and it is reterospective for past 5 years.

Also if a club gets over 10 weeks worth of suspensions they pay a $5k fine.

Any truth to either of these?

I may venture out and have a look at it but from all reports Natte have been anything but impressive over the last couple of weeks. Who is your tip?

Natte in a close one can't remember the last time Carngham lost 4 in a row. When Navarre beat them on the weekend it was the first time since 1999 when they beat c/l in the grand final!!!

CL have everything to play for but I can't see them getting this one. I can't understand what the problem is. They have recruited well. Hille, Ladiges, Coon, Allen and Brown should on paper cover Head, Raynor, Porter and Pring.

Yeah not to sure whats going on down that way?? Heard that Porter is still playing at c/l does anyone no if there is any truth to this???

Spoke to a fella from bunningyong and Rayner and Porter are both contracted to them so they won't be playing at C/L this year i wouldn't think.

No one should right off Carngham, they are still my tip for the flag!

The situation has changed alot at Bunningyong so that might give them more of a chance to leave even if they are under contract.

I'll still go with CL for the flag but should they lose this week, I'm off the wagon.

I have a choice of three games this weekend, not sure which one I will go to... 2 very good matches C/L v Natte and Skipton v Illabarook, or I could go and watch my old team and few mate with probably the worst game of the round Lexton v Eagles.

At this stage its looking like Skipton Illabarook... Looking foward to seeing some good close footy whatever game I go to though.

Also if C/L lose this weekend there is absolutly no way they will win the premiership, there looks to be only one easybeat this year and I cant see them winning enough games to get the double chance.
