I think your sorely mistaken there bumbles..
You did not once say that he might 'not' want to play in the grandfinal..
You tried to tell us that even though he might not show it deep down he would want to be playing in the grandfinal!
Dont try and cover over your mistakes we are not that stupid!
You made a mistake by stating wrong information so just accept it..

Alas my friend, again u misunderstand..
It was simply my opinion that was stated on here..
Opinions are neither right, nor are they wrong, they are simply just that, an opinion.
I do not see why u feel the need to carry on, perhaps its is your youth?
Im glad u are there to bat for your teammate, but i have made no personal attack on the boy, simply stated my opinion so perhaps your defence was a little over the top!!
Cheer up mate, i will make no further comment on the matter..
If u feel the need to respond again to 'win' the argument as u may see it, then feel free!!
I will refrain from talking further in case you become too emotional..

So wats the go wid u eagles boys next season, hav ya's found a coach yet or r ya's still in the process?
Is will gunna coach the kids again?

Probably find out on sunday for the vote count/presentation..
I havent really talked to any seniors so dont know if they have found one yet sorry AAF

He's a Moyston boy now, that's what I heard!
Would be a handy addition to the side out there-hopefully we can see the puma's push deeper into the finals and give Taty and H/M a shake. Would love to head out there for a run, but numbers wise I don't see me gettin a game, even in their twos. (Says a little for my ability haha-or lack thereof)

Odd isn't it bighawk?
You get terribly emotional about the Ararat Eagles and its players, yet plan to 'fly the coup' and head to Moyston!!
Seems a bit funny to get so worked about the Eagles when u probably wont play there next year!!

Oh and perhaps I did have a point about Shaun North!
It would seem strange for him to go to Rats training and offer to train, run water etc if he had no regrets at all...
I wonder if he offered the same to the Eagles under 14s when they made the grand final?

And i should also clarify before anyone carries on that i think it was a terrific gesture by Shaun!!

Can't speak for Steve, but it's fairly common for young blokes to move to a league which has u/17s from one with u/16s to prolong there junior football career-so in effect he is going back where he came from-if he does change clubs. And whats the big deal with changing anyway? How many people around here have changed clubs at some point? I know I have.

Never said it was such a big deal mate, just made the point that he seems to be a one-eyed Eagles bloke from what he says and how he acts...
And i thought it was funny that he would leave after that..
But yeh i agree, plenty of kids switch leagues to prolong their junior footy career, dont mind that at all!!

It benefits all round I reckon-although with a lot of leagues now moving toward U/17s (LPFL, HDFL) this has become less common. And then there are a few players who move straight up into senior football after u/16s-my cousin was one out at moyston, and there are also your players who split between juniors and senior footy.

I hear Shaun is heading back to the Rats next year anyway. Not because of the club itself, but because under 17's Eagles lose about 15 players so he will have less mates at Eagles playing Junior footy with him. Rats will have all the boys at school who he is mates with, so he may move their to play with his mates next year - along with maybe a couple of the other Eagles boys.

What's the bet if it happens people will start taking pot shots at the Eagles and say that he moved back to Rats because he thought it was a better club to play at though.

;)i thought this was over bumbles??
shauny did run water for the eagles u14..

If you didnt already know i will inform you about myself..
I played at moysten last year in u16 when i moved here from yarrawonga as did all of my family.
My dad made it clear to me that he wanted me to play my last year of juniors instead of stepping up into the rserves or seniors which is fair enough!
After the year at the eagles i found it to be a great club, always welcoming and great to be around but my parents found it hard trying to watch their kids at two different clubs.. also with dad working on most weekends mum couldnt go watch me with 4 other kids at moyston!
So you see my family will all be out at moysten next year so dad proposed that i come back out there to play because it would be easier on them and the family..
So mr bumbles don come squaking to me about 'flying the coup' because i wouldnt do it for myself but for the family!!
As for shaun he is a good mate of mine so i have every right to defend him playing at the same club or not..
Sorry for the essay but bumbles why not explain and get it over and done with..

I have had a great year and am proud to have played for the eagles but sometimes ya have to do things for others not just yourself as i have posted above^^

Is it wrong to become connected to a club and then leave for personal reasons? I would think its wrong if i had of left for money or something like that but in my position nothing wrong with it!!

;)haha cheers mate!
I enjoy writing about footy, where as Macbeth isnt my cup of tea :D
They aren't making you do that shit are they? Just crap on about Lady macbeth being a push ho-your teacher will give up eventually. At least they didn't make you do the Wife of Martin Guerre-wanted to shoot myself
