Happy with that, lots of depth and flexibility which is my strength, I expect Dunn to overtake Tarrant about 10 rounds into the season and Harro to move into the middle at the expense of Simmo and Armitage to move into my starting tackler.

No one's a sure starter besides Chad Cornes and Joel Corey, and everyone is capable of starting.

Weak in the ruck division, but I reckon Kingy should hold up alright...looking good preseason. Looked like I had a good defender combo happening with Cornes and Malceski, until he went down with injury. Should be back mid-season which is good.

Last starting defender spot still up for grabs, between Waite, Jake King and Lovett Murray.
 
Tough decision who to start in round one - Robertson, Petrie or Murphy. Glad Robbo got off - I'm leaning towards him - who usually takes Robertson for Hawthorn, Campbell Brown?

I reckon you have a pretty solid side. Flexibility is definitely the strength. Weakness would be your ruck division, even though King was a bargain and should be good, if he doesn't stand up I'm not sure how much ruck time Jonathan Griffen will get. I reckon you'll be using Schammer & Armitage a fair bit during the year.

Not too bad dude. A gun utility is a must and you have that. Harris is an elite tackler too. Your midfield is pretty decent. Ruck stocks are a bit thin obviously, though you can get away with it I think. I made a GF with Barnaby French my best ruck option, and that wasn't why I lost, either. I think you need 3 ruckman on your list so your short there. Your short a decent 2nd defender I think with Malceski out, can't see the others scoring like a 2nd choice defender should. At least you have probably the best #1 back though.

I probably would have recruited a specialist tackler late if I was you, so you could have the flexibility to play him as the tackler, move Harris into midfield and move a backline suited midfielder into defence (not sure who's most suitable marks wise, NVB perhaps). One of your backups might be a good tackler as is to allow that to happen, haven't looked close enough.

I think the form of Thommo and Tarrant will be a pretty good formline for how you will go, you need them to fire.

Totally agree, everything you've raised has gone through my head.

I'm taking a punt on just having two rucks, I initially had 3 but Biglands was ruled out with a season ending injury and there weren't many ruckmen worth picking up by then.

My first preferance tackler was Alwyn Davey, for whatever reason I thought he would slide and I got too greedy, you picked him up in the end yeah? Was spewing when I saw that. So I picked up Armitage, ball getter and a pretty good tackler too, wouldn't call him a specialist just yet, we will see though.

Malceski injury killed me, I would probably have had arguably the best starting defence in the comp.

And yeah if thommo and Tarrant fire, I'll be in for a solid season. Although I have a feeling Taz won't and Dunn will overtake him.

Also cheers B20 for your feedback, definately reckon Schammer and Armo will feature quite abit.
