Not knocking the idea of a female doing the job, or Lisa's ability to coach netball, but surely this does cross to another sport. After all, Ric Charlesworth, the great hockey coach, was on the Dockers coaching staff many years ago was he not?

If Bek Goddard put her hand up for the job, then I would say she should be given every consideration.

So Chris Fagan who is a school teacher never played the sport, Today a coach doesnt teach them to kick, he is more a manager, look at the soccer examples Avram Grant, Jose mourinho was an interpeter before doing his coaching licence, Andre Villas Boas to name a few

Both Mourinho and Villas Boas both started at the lowest of low levels of football coaching working under one of the greats and had years of experience before they were ever trusted with a senior gig. Is this what she’s doing?

Already we've seen social commentary doubling down and going the sexist route.
My gripe is that North did all the right things it possibly could and will still get labelled the toxic male club who knocked back an applicant because of 'whats between their legs'.

North does as much as it can to be inclusive and then here comes along Lisa Alexander with her agenda driven and attention seeking application when she was grossly underqualified.
Why should North take the fall? She used our coaching search for her own personal reasons and for that she can **** right off.

There you go, that would be using her expertise and transferable skills where she might add some value to the process.

Chris Fagan was a premiership playing-coach in Tassie.

Jose Mourinho was a player who acknowledged he didn't have the skills to make it in the big league so he moved into coaching.

Rebecca's biggest problem is that she acted all holier than though about professional athletes behaviour and fan behaviour of some codes, despite having been caught for drink driving on multiple occassions as well as having an affair whilst still married with her News Limited boss, who she then ended up marrying. To put it bluntly, she is a hypocrite.

You can sometimes question Caro as a journalist, but none of us could genuinely say that she is a bad person outside of that. Rebecca Wilson was. Best I say no more on her I will get myself banned.
