I thought eligible clubs attempt to bid picks for a f/s rule and the draftee doesn't get a choice.

Though of course Demetriou tries to average a rule change a year, so this could be change very soon.

If a player is eligible for more then one club, he chooses which club he can go to (ala the Clokes), or can refuse to go to a club under father-son (ala Marc Murphy).

Once a player has confirmed they want to go father-son to a particular club the other clubs indicate with what pick they would have taken him with had he been in the draft pool and the club he is going to gets forced to match it with their first pick in that round. Eg this year Freo said they would have taken Tom Mitchell with their first pick, so sydney were forced to commit their first pick to take him. Conversely no one wanted Dylan Buckley (Lol) so Carlton can pick him with whatever pick they want in the draft.

I can see Judd moving back to Perth with Twiggers once he retires to get away from the Melbourne football environment. Then all we have to hope for is Oscar to be as much of a mummy's boy as he was
