Cause he kicked 6 goals and has been consistantly good in his time in the VFL. You must reward those who are playing well in the lower levels and drop those who have stunk it up all season in the seniors. You gots to send the right message to the playing list. You just gots to.

I just hope he doesn't disgrace himself like he has done every single time he has stepped onto the field since round 2 2008.

Yeah that is the risk we as a club need to take but Corey has been good for a number of weeks and deserves one more chance in the seniors.

ICON, we all know you luvs Edwards so that is a Big Call. But like usual you're right. Jones coming in for Edward Scissorhands makes more sense to me. Campbell should come in for Thomas.

Just going on what the boss said. Not that I like what the boss says or does some of the times.

Jones continues to make stupid mistakes and he isn't the future.

Wundke in for Edwards, Campbell in for Thomas and Hansen in for Goldstein would be the only changes I'd make.

Give Anthony another week in the VFL at senior level this week and then BANG, unleash the man.

He was pretty prominent last year in the VFL.

But if anyone should come in for Edwards, Jones or Smith would be first in line.

Josh Smith is in the Leigh Brown mould..... To good for the VFL, not good enough for AFL. And he has the turning circle of the Queen Mary.

Corey Jones is in the same boat.

Agree with Bigeasy's changes except for Wundke.

Had a full day of watching North Ballarat 2nds and 1sts!

The seconds hung in for longer than expected, but eventually succumbed to the better side.

Liam Anthony was only going to play a half but wasn't pulled until the fourth quarter. He was rested up forward on a few occasions. Probably could have kicked more than two, but missed a couple of shots and was unselfish on a couple of occasions as well.

He drifted in and out in the midfield, but he reads the play well and is very good when he gets the pill in space. Liam got better as the game went. He played himself into some form. Should play VFL 1sts next week.

Best NM players in the 1sts were Cruize Garlett and CJ. The radio announcers were spot on! CJ was very good at times. He was doing some things that had me saying that he must get elevated. Then he would do something that's just dumb! He nearly cost NB the game late, but they wouldn't have been close if he hadn't played. Of course, at AFL level he wouldn't be as dominant, and the bad things would be even worse. Tough call on what to do.

Cruize worked hard all day and played well.

Matt Campbell started to look like Flash in the fourth quarter. Didn't have a great game, but played his way into it.

Marcus White looked good at times, but got pulled after a terrible mistake which resulted in a 12 point turnaround. Outside of that glaring error, he played pretty well.

Wundke worked hard and his second half was a big improvement on the first. He is still a dead eye shot on goal, but he can go missing from the game.

Josh Smith had a forgettable first half, but with hard work and some good second half play, he redeemed himself. He played a role today as opposed to being the focus up forward.

Warren Benjamin was alright. Just seemed to be a hair off of doing some nice things.

Shanno Watt kicked a nice goal, but a couple of defensive lapses had us shaking our heads.

Pratty was another that played his way into the game. A very good second half saw him working his way back to some form.

Excellent win after what was looking like a very dirty weekend for us!!

Warren Benjamin was alright. Just seemed to be a hair off of doing some nice things.

I have to qualify this by saying I only saw 2 1/2 quarters and I was also trying to keep my 3yo from eating the birdshit covering the Willy grandstand.

But I agree on the Benjamin call. Yeah, he was just 'alright' but you are on the money - he always seemed on the verge of something really nice. Got attributes of a kid worth persisting with. Wouldn't expect to see him in the ones this year but I look forward to seeing him with a full pre-season under his belt.

Another solid game from Garlett, big chance to debut after round 11.
CJ give him another crack laids we need fowards that are going to kick goals we cant just have Benny Warren kicking bags.
Great to see Campbell, Pratt and Anthony back playing, Campbell should be a sure in next week IMO.
