$50,000 each, or if they both come, they split the $50,000?

Those twins can play, but most of there best work was done at the Anglsea pub, the stories are legendary!

perhaps u could elaborate on some of those stories in the back bar gfc?

just on that does the bigfooty back bar shut as of december 4th as the real back bar is getting knocked over?? or should the legend live on in a bigfooty tribute?? RIP EURKEKA 4-12-2006

the venue might be shutting but the memories will live on...

ohh kowalski keep up mate! disco stu was blind sided and signed the lease over to a guy who was buying it for the owner of 99. now the 99 blokes are shutting it down and re-doing the joint in what will mark the end of a truly great era in the geelong nightlife...

bottom line: no more back bar stories...

Is there a bloke down there playing by the name of Adam Chatfield

Luke captained / coached Griffith in the Riverina Leauge last year.

Chris Jones is a massive loss.

Jones's departure isn't definite. just depending on whether he gets a job close to Geelong if he'll stay at St. Mary's or not. would leave a massive hole in the saints backline however

On the GVFL Forum its linking Dual Premiership Player Mark Pilling with South Barwon..Can anyone from South Barwon confirm this.

Anyone wanna predict the Top 5 after round 18 next year?
Here's my hypothesis:

St. Mary's
South Barwon
Bell Park
North Shore
GWSP

Don't know whether GWSP will make it to the 5 but they will certainly improve on their efforts from recent seasons...

My Top 5...

St. Mary's
Bell Park
St. Joey's
Nth. Shore
Colac

St. Mary's have lost too many key players and leadership from last year. What will make them sit first after round 18?

It's pretty hard to predict who will finish on top because there are still negotiations taking place but I like people's enthusiasm. Colac will be the team to watch next year and I know it's easy saying that because they made the prelim this year but no one hears of their recruits until the season starts and catch teams by suprise...

Sth Barwon, Bell Park, Colac are all safe bets on making the top 5, St. Joeys should make it but Andrew Betz is a bigger lose then people think, along with some key retirements. St. Mary's are a dicey choice, especially if Jones leaves. What about Newtown? New coach, new recruits, a fit Michael Bright and maybe a return of Jay Bett? Why wouldn't they be considered as a dominant team? North Shore will improve on 7th position with Robertson in the side, along with some other big recruits on the way (apparently). I reckon Grovedale will be once again a tough opposition but the loss of Mitch Burrow and the apparent retirement of Peter O'Brien, the young tigers may battle on. Leopold were unlucky to miss out last year and with Rennie Watts at CHF this year will go close again, GWSP will determine their own success and weather or not they can mold into a unit and finally for St. Albans and Lara, they are still re-building and will look forward to playing against each other.

GDFL - Expect a big signing in the GDFL by a former AFL listed player to Thomson.

Other than Brad Sholl from Port Fairy, does anyone have confirmation on Bell Park's recruits for next season?

They've obviously under performed with the list they've had in the past two seasons.

With the new coach on board who is expected to extract the clubs full potential, do they actually need any players other than a big ruckman and maybe another onballer given Tala will be out for the year...

they're one of the few teams of the last 5 years that have made the finals every year. a little underdone this year. their list has a great blend of experience and youth. don't be suprised if you see them go all the way this year. 2 new coaching appointments and some handy recruits
