GFL
St Joesphs - cause of Aaron Greaves
Sth Barwon - might lose a few games cause of Dale Amos not playing
Geelong West - cause of Peter Riccadri
Leopold - Jackson Bolton is playing there
Bell Park - cause of there new coach in John Fitzgerald
Surpise Team Will Be ST ALBANS cause they might win a game this year lol

You've highlighted why teams will succeed because of one player. Thats crap! Maybe in a lower league one player can determine games but rarely in the GFL does that happen.

Aaron Greaves, great player and an outstanding forward but really, he was injured majority of last year (even when playing) and Joeys had around 5 guys kick over 25 goals last year including Greaves. Dale Amos won't drag the teams performance down for Sth Barwon. They have a consistent team all over the field and can still be successful without Amos (hence the GF where they also lost Biddiscombe early). Riccardi... will make some difference but not that much. The other recruits combined will do the job for West. Bolton.. most injury prone footballer going around. Dodgey knees and shoulders will restrict him to half a season! I can only agree with you on John Fitzgerald improving Bell Park. Much better relationship with players and more determined then Talbot according to players.

no big loss there at all for barwon heads, im sure they will cover thoses players no dramas. Ash struggled all year and was lucky to play senior football!

I think they will struggle, but each to their own...

Who have ocean grove lost?
What was the wash up with the torquay walk out?
Who is staying, who is leaving and where are they going?

Have any gone with Skrobolak to east other than the Coys?

There is only 4 senior players left from last yaers GF side, Gone to CDFL,GDFL and GFL. I'm sure they will be still be competitive because of the abundance of talent of the younger players and the grovedale boys that have come on board. pitty there was such a falling out with the board and the players

The riff between players and commitee is a shame thats for sure. As a person who followed them last year i wish a hoped thta it could of been worked out. I dont think the commitee understood the acheivement they players did.
Premierships are not easy to come by and they through it away. I think this other press with there players involved was 10 times worse for there image than what happened with x coach.

gee lion king if your on the money then ammos might be average then, cos im sure some players will follow across town to the lions like they did when he went to ammos from south barwon.

I can fairly safely say that there will be none if only 1 or 2 that will follow Haami to Belmont. Doesnt have that much money to recruit players with. And Ammos will go well this year so wont se to many players leaving Queens Park.

Your spot on Hulkster. The cupboards all but empty, But Haami's keen to work with their young list, throw in a couple of tall's, maybe someone like John Tate from joey's, and take a lucky dip at what arrives at Deakin this week and i think they'll improve. Can all the clubs that finished above them last year say that they'll improve?

Thompson: will be similar
Bannokburn : will drop down a little
Bell post hill: will improve
North Geelong : Will slip
centrals: Slip for certain
Corio:Will improve
Inverleigh: Who cares
East Geelong: improve
Winch: who cares
Anakie: Not sure
Belmont: Improve

I think i forgot one side, a few teams can say they will improve but also some will slip.

You missed West.. Sheedy should have some impact. Where do you see Hill's improvement? They weren't far off the mark last year? and East will surely improve, but they're coming from a long way back. They were a very ordinary side last year.

Holzfiend got cleared to corio today he will definately help them and there was early roomers last year that stewart was going back to finish his career down at the devils den has anyone herd anything about that. i also got told that danni ruck is back from knee injury last year and training harder than ever if fit the best backmen in the league so they should be on the improve.

Arrrrr west was the team who i forgot. They should improve and from what i hear they have some handy pick ups.

Bell Post hill have a young side and were not that far away, i have heard they have some new GFL players.

East have have given the rest a big head start but from what i hear are really making up some ground and on the recruiting beat. Not sure who they have signed.

Any names to mention?

yes he would be a big loss...he won there best and fairest last year so he had a terrific year...but grovedale have gained players that could fill in his shoes so if he does leave, it would be dissapointing but there is people that can play his role there

Brent Riordan is from Katandra where I play. Haven't seen him around much and not a lot of talk about him coming home. His brother Matt is staying, but we will see how it goes. At this stage I guess he will be at Grovedale.

i went to watch the Grand Final in shepparton when Katandra played Shepparton East and i saw Brett Riordans son Matt Riordan i think his name is played for Katandra and telling you what.....Matt Riordan can play spme good footy and he could get a game in any GFL Forward Line

Gee they won the Grand Final without him, so i think they will manage.

Forget Sth.Barwon to do the 3peat.The LIons have got it in the bag for 2007(leopold) - Gains - P.Lynch(will kick 50-60 goals forward), Walker(up & coming ruckman , Lee Purton(best backman in the league) , Jye Walker(speedster from werribee),Bolton(what more can I say- star) I would keep going but would be here all day. Losses - none. Will improve in 2007 - Go Lions "Premiers";) ;) ;)

Zoey, you have a lot to learn about local football

Whats with Tim Van Der Klooster playing at Simpson this year? The guy was on an AFL list 6 years ago and now he has slowly dwindled down from North Melbourne to St. Mary's to Ammos and now Simpson.......

Would love to know how much the cabbage farmers are offering. Dutchy.. your a fool!

Brent's brother! And yes can play! Great grand final but we went down by 3 goals in the end. Brent seems to get the ball as a tall and a short if you know what i mean. Matt just plays tall!

The boys are finally returning home...fiurst Scooter Rooter Wright, now Spider Purton...now all you need is young Sully and those blokes who SHOULD NEVER have left the club are on their way back.

It's 10 years since the 'Pold nearly stole a grand final berth...lets hope Mazda can get them home.

BTW...Has Grundell retired? he would be what,. 36 or 37 now?
