Clearly Davey is better. Although Lovett won the Anzac medal, Davey is better, knows how to kick goals, is lightning quick and puts more pressure on the opposition with tackling than Lovett. Davey also has the ability to do the freakish things when he gets the ball more than Lovett.

Have know problem with you thinking Davey is a better player than Lovett. I actually agree with you at this stage, but I don't think the gap is that large. And I do think Lovett has a great ability to find the footy.

Just to pick you up on a couple of things you said though, Lovett averages more tackles a game than Davey. Lovett, like Davey is super quick. And Lovey definately doesn't have any problem finding the goals.

I said milne isn't convicted.

I never said that Gardiner and Cousins are "convicted underworld figures," which isn't a crime by the way. However everyone knows what happens in the criminal underworld.

There realluy isn't that much difference between the 2, aside from Davey's 1 year extra experience at this level.

Both are electrifying players.
Both are very clever and creative in front of goal.
Both have tremendous speed.
Both tackle very well.
Both started as forwards, yet are destined to play in midfield roles (Davey on a wing, Lovett as a rover).

Melbourne and Essendon fans both have A LOT to look forward to.
