This year i am running a betting competition. Everyone starts off with $1000 which they can bet with. Each week i will post odds for the games and they will simply be win / loss bets. After each week i will post a leaderboard and the amount people have in their kitty's.

Rules:

No one is allowed in the competition after round 4.

Everyone must post their bets on this forum by 12:00 saturday.

Once you have lost your money you are out of the competion.
 
Round One betting:

Navarre ($1.10) v Ararat Eagles ($10.00) Navarre Sports Complex
Rokewood ($1.50) v Illabarook ($3.20) Rokewood Reserve
Skipton ($1.80) v Lexton ($2.60) Skipton Recreation Reserve
Carngham ($1.60) v Natte Bealiba ($2.90) AUSTAR Arena


I will also put in one margin bet per week which will be picked at random.
First week we will run with the Grand Final rematch

Carngham
- Less then 39.5 points $2.20
- More then 39.5 ponts $2.60

Natte
- Less then 39.5 points $3.20
- More then 39.5 points $6.50

Great concept here, $1000 on Skipton @ $1.80 for a return of $1800.

Odds are very juicey in my opinion and i'm going to roll the lot on it. Now or never Emu's :eek:
 
I'll take...

$300 on Rokewood at $1.50
$300 on Skipton at $1.80
$400 on CL at $1.60

Sorry for making it complex but I like to spread my money early in the season.

Edit: Taking out "$100 on CL at more than 39.5 points paying $2.60" due to the bigger ground and a night match should bring the scores down and putting an extra on CL at $1.60.

and i will have $300 on Lexton to upset skipton.
