Yup, just classic Carlton President behaviour.

If the technology was available back in the day, guys like John Elliott, Ian Rice and George Harris would've been sending dick pics left, right and centre.
Imagine the lucky lady receiving a black and white faxed dick pic from old “Pigs Arse”. 😍😍

Following the Taryn Thomas episode, it really is pathetic of the AFL not to investigate this.

They may find there was no issues with it (ie the recipient of the message had no problem with it), in which case they can just say it’s been resolved as a private matter and they’re taking no action.

But what if it is unwelcome harassment of an unwilling person??

Just shows you how the AFL’s stance on these things is complete bullshit - it just depends who you are.
drawing a long bow here buddy.

I’ll be very disappointed in the Richmond cheer squad if they aren’t already writing their banner for Round 1.

I’d suggest

THIS YEAR COULD BE TOUGH
BUT WE’RE GLAD TO BE BACK
IF WE EMBARRASS OURSELVES
WE’LL SAY WE WERE HACKED
THIS YEAR COULD BE TOUGH
BUT WE’RE GLAD TO BE BACK
AT LEAST IT CANT GET AS UGLY
AS LUKE SAYERS SACK

(Apologies to those who may be eating whilst entertaining that thought).
John Elliott had a massive dic. They named him Tom

Speaks volumes for Australia's current culture that nobody went to gaol over the PWC tax scandal.

Sayers still gets government contracts, still gets government money directed to his wife's charity, still president of Carlton and no doubt still attends plenty of so called "progressive Labor" dinners.

And no doubt Labor ministers, MPs and senior bureaucrats all lick his ass and can't wait to tuck their knees under his dinner table
don't forget the Libs Frydenberg et al

even if she is/was fine with the picture, I highly doubt she would want to be outed in a public forum like that

Not sure how any of that is relevant (at present based on what we know). We actually don't know the circumstances. IF it was intentional (but meant to be via DM), then provided it's consensual, none of these apply. What you've posted just SOUNDS relevant, but it's not (yet). Consensual hanky panky (legally speaking) is still permissible. If it's unwanted, then that's a different story entirely.
We won't ever fully know.

I'd be 99% sure it's consensual and has been going on for some time prior to this "accident".

I don't think any laws have been broken at all.

It's actually starting to piss me off a bit that the AFL hasn't said anything. For a regular club employee this is OBVIOUSLY within the AFL's jurisdiction. So is a club president outside of that for whatever technical reason, are they just not announcing that they are investigating, or are they refusing to? Tell us something.
Wouldn't rule out as explanation the AFL's decision makers are still on Christmas-New Year break and also probably want Carlton to get rid of him rather than bringing them into this

Piss you off? If a person linked to the Pies forgets to put their yellow bin out the Herald Sun do an 8 page spread

It if it's non consensual then the AFL needs to take disciplinary action against Luke.

If its consensual then it's a private and personal matter the AFL should not pursue an investigation.

Simple as that..

But they need to know whether it was consensual or not.

Definitely a "please explain".

"I was hacked" is not a plausible explanation,
and if he tries to mislead the AFL then that is enough to take action against him.
