Okay so the possible scenarios to me:
1: Sayers thought he was DMing her consensually as part of an ongoing affair and stuffed it up (most likely)
2: Sayers thought he was DMing her non-consensually (seems less likely but would be a major problem if true)
3: Ongoing affair discovered by his wife who posted it to embarrass them both (possible but if would probably be classified as revenge pr0n and not sure it’s really very likely)
4: He was hacked by someone out to get him (not impossible I guess but come on, who cares enough about this guy to bother?)
5: His phone has done a Reilly O’Brien and posted his Naitanui notes (you’d hope a long term corporate type could afford not to be carrying around an iPhone 2 but this would be funny)
Scenario 2 is instantly sackable (and I’d imagine the only one were the AFL would feel the need to intervene so I’d expect at least a private please explain). All the rest given his term is up at the end of the year as far as I know can probably be ridden out.
He’s always struck me as a bit of a douche so wouldn’t be the end of the world to see him go but he has been effective
editing to add I didn’t consider the dynamic of her being employed by a major sponsor so it does make it a little more likely that he’ll need to be moved on
