Hard to take much from the result of Marong V Woomelang Lascelles. We had nearly 40 players to get through a 4 quarter game due to W/L only having 22. Would have been a pretty close score line. Some of the new recruits were pretty impressive.
Serp have a round robbin this weekend, dont know who the other sides are but it will be interesting to see how the new recruits go for the first time on there own paddock.

The round robin at Serp was a very long day. Undera & Ultima were a little off the pace and both Elmore and Serp were too strong for either side. They had a good battle against each other with Ultima getting the points. Elmore were fast and looked a little bigger than Serp but Serp took the points as they were much harder at the contest. Elmore took the points in the second game after Serp was leading by 25 pts. Serp looked very good in patches and will no doubt improve when the new guys start to work out the landscape. Difficult to identify best players as all had good patches. They look strong in the centre with the recruit from Sandhurst bringing a lot of grunt to the pivot.
Do you think miti have picked up enough to be top 5?how are marong and calivil traveling haven't heard much from them.

If you believed all the rumours out of Miti you'd think they'll go through the season undefeated....
Haha yeah it's like that this time of year from all clubs really every club is going to finish on top if you ask them

Already some action for Newbridge they were $16.00 when it first opened. Plenty of value if you think Bridgewater can be beaten.

That begs the question; can they be beaten?
Not a lot to report from Marong Links oval. Few in, few out but i would think we would be no worse than last year. Bit of luck with injuries and who knows. The real stuff isn't far away so we will all find out soon
Disappointing to see Vance leave. He's was very hard to stop when he was on the park!

I was out at the Hill the other day and there were a few tradies there fitting a very large new mirror in the home rooms. Apparently Gav James paid for it out of his own pocket and took the day off work to make sure it was in before round 1.
You'd be keen to be steaming out of Full Forward wouldnt ya roota?
Surely you would have kicked a fair bag for the year last year if you didnt get injured?
