On a more serious note...
MATCH Review Panel chairman Mark Fraser has criticised Quentin Lynch for his hit on Scott McMahon, saying the Eagle forward could have broken McMahon's back by jumping into him at a marking contest.
Lynch has been offered a one-week suspension for charging McMahon in West Coast's win on Sunday afternoon.
Fraser said Lynch had been reckless in his contact with the North Melbourne defender.
"We believe that's breaching a duty of care as a player. If you go into a contest knees first like that, even though there is an attempt to hit the ball over there. We think that's worthy of charging," Fraser told AFL.com.au.
"It does have the potential in the worst case scenario that you break somebody's back. It was a very forceful hit and we believe that's a charge."
And yet it is rated low impact?
If McMahon had not bravely got up and played on (say done the Mitch Robinson and lay on the ground for 30 seconds after colliding with Sam Wright) the impact is then higher?
Just further proof the system is shot, I would have thought.
