I expected after last week's episode that the Don we saw this week would be in align with the one at the end of this week. Just all about the work.

Alas...c'mon Don.

Yep should be an interesting ******* conclusion THIS TIME IN ONE YEAR.

Total bullshit AMC.

Agreed. There's no 'cliffhangers' in Mad Men so I don't know how you build up to a satisfactory ending to this in three episodes, and then have to build it all up again in a year. Screws all momentum.

They are 'different' that network with some of their decisions.

Ginsberg. What the hell man. Thought it might just have been some overplayed jewish neuroticism. Under valued character.

Megan please. I find Betty infinitely more interesting.

Love that Peggy and the Julio kid just chill out and watch tv together.

just on last night's episode, I was surprised to see don & megan on such good terms with her looking forward to him coming to stay, last I remember she chucked the shits with him for not telling her about him not being in the office, I thought it was over.

did I miss a reconciliation moment?

*confused*

I think they are both trying hard to make it work. Doesn't seem to be working, having a threesome and then the reaction the next morning basically ended the marriage IMO.

Haha yeah I thought it was over as well. Thought I missed an episode at a couple of points through that last one actually.

Yeah, I thought that it was over as well, but when I saw them back together I just assumed it was the usual ebb and flow of a relationship … but on re-reading some of the scenes from the last episode, it did seem really final. It almost feels like they got some of the episodes the wrong way around, but surely such a professional and particular team wouldn’t make that mistake?

It was a great episode though and seeing Don getting his mojo back and starting to plot some revenge against Lou (does ANYONE like him?), but you get the feeling things won’t go the way he wants them to.

Top episode! Don handling this brilliantly - just watching as everything else falls apart at the agency and being in the right place at the right time.

Also, am wondering if he is thinking that he needs Peggy to get rid of Lou?

A great episode in my eyes. Don looking calm and composed, and perhaps setting in motion his strike back to the top. Loved how Pete was adamant Don needed to be in the meeting first, and then deliver the pitch.

I didnt realize today was the last ep for the year i thought it was 2 lots of 8.

Not the best season so far, but its getting better every week. So sad that Burt is dead, will be interesting to see how the 2nd half of the season plays out. glad SCP is doing better now.

The only thing this season has missed is the comedy from Rodger. Its going to be a long wait till march when its back.
