Liz appears thin because of her face but she definitely has weight on her. I wouldn't say she is huge though. Huge is someone like Chrissy Swan

I don't think she is huge but the potential to blow up is there, it hangs on a knife edge. You can tell by the tuck shop arms and her mum.

On one hand, she eats trash when emotional as we saw, on the other, she'd also be the type to let herself go once she snags a bloke. It's just a matter of time.

Nah Ed is on the money, Sam was gaslighting Liz at the dinner party, laughing it off, being a total dick. It's the kind of behaviour (along with Ines') that should be called out as not acceptable to anyone, let alone your partner.

Liz definitely did initially say that he looked fat. Whether she said it afterwards to him is unknown by those that either weren't there or don't have access to the footage/audio (if there is any)

From reading that article, it seems like Ed had a preconceived notion of what happened and then lashed out with sarcasm when he didn't get the responses he was after.

Take this part of the article for example:

The 2Day FM team then played Sam some audio of Elizabeth talking about an offensive comment he made to her during which he allegedly said she must be single because of her size.

He laughed after hearing the clip and then said, “Nah, I never said that”.

“You didn’t say that?” Kavalee questioned.

“I don’t believe I said that, did I?” Sam replied.

“Oh you don’t believe you said it,” Kavalee said. “See Sam, you’ve got an issue. All of the things that you’ve said that have been captured, then that’s not really the truth. But everything she said that nobody saw, we haven’t seen that, so you’re really at a disadvantage here, you poor thing.”

He's taking Elizabeth's word, and the fact we are yet to see any potential comments that back up what Sam said, as justification to attack and belittle Sam. It might make for good radio, but I don't think it's necessarily the best way to handle oneself.
