Nah sorry mate! The afl don't archive that they keep it on their own playlist on their site, thus since your in London you wouldn't be able to view that content and i'd have no way to embed it either.

Magpie Central :: Game Replays, Collingwood News, Much more!

So anyone following my thread in 'the magpies nest' would already know about this, but if you haven't been then here it is.

What is Magpie Central?
Magpie Central is a website created by thenumber13 that currently hosts collingwood nab cup and afl replays. All current 2012 nab cup and afl game replays are online at the moment.
I've spent about 12 hours on the site at the moment and In the future Magpie Central is going to be expanded into an all-in-one collingwood website with news and more.

Let's go into detail, what will Magpie Central offer when it is fully completed?

Despite having game replays, magpie central will also feature

- Match previews & Lead up to every match.
- Pies team every thursday.
- VFL Report.
- Post match analysis.
- Opposition analysis.
- Classic matches from 06,07,08,09,10,11' etc. Every week a new Classic Match!
- Community Message Board.
- Weekly media review.
- Weekly episodes of The Club and The Black and White show.
+ Much much more!

What can i do at the moment?
At this present time you can view all game replays up to round 5, yes we have the anzac day replay too!
Just visit the magpie central website and click on "2012 Nab Cup" if you want to watch nab cup replays or "2012 AFL Season" to watch replays of our matches this season. The rest of the pages are locked out for the moment!

What can i do to support the website?
Contact TheNumber13 if you have an idea in mind. I'm open to any suggestions.

Sure, just head over to http://magpiecentral.co.cc

All game replays will work on your PC/Mobile Phone/iPad/iPhone - It's all compatible.
You can watch the videos overseas too! It's been tested using a vpn from the UK and everything works as normal.

I plan to keep this updated as much as possible, enjoy!

They're not streaming they are just uploads, as streaming would be illegal :p

Well aren't they Streaming Videos from AFL.com.au?

So you Download the Games and Put them on your Site?

How did you do that?

It's streaming it from afl.com.au however they are technically parts of the game AFL uploaded, eg a true .mp4 file of the game that can be downloaded as a solid copy as well.

Real streaming is streaming from a computer or device in real time, eg rtmp streams. Which are illegal.

None of the footage is mine it's just being backtracked to a video player on my site. What makes my site unique is that you can watch from any country, and you can watch with html5 on iphones/ipads, from afl direct you cannot do both of those things.

I'll update my site in the future to allow downloads, what i have now is progress though, progress from a LOT of work. Downloads are on my to-do list

Also, i wouldn't give away all of my secrets :p However afl do have SOME classic games stored on their site.

Awesome. I swear AFL have about 100 videos stored on their site, going back to last year or has that changed now? I know it used to be like that. I used to watch all 2010 games again last year. Downloading would be good but what you've got now is a start and it looks good mate. Nice work. :)

I'm pretty sure they still have last years videos, they use bigpond's servers so it's no big deal for them.

Downloading is definitely coming in a few days.
