he looks better than nic nat.. and u could get him cheap.

Lol. NFI.

Compare Majak's highlights in the TAC/School footy against kids where as his stats show, he has struggled, to Nic Nat in the WAFL last year with grown men. Keeping in mind that Nic Nat is primarily, at 201cm, a ruckman:

lol. take him with your 1st pick then.

You had a chance to take Naita last year. Unlucky for you. So don't pass this one up. He won't last past pick 3.

Naita's work and handball in that vid around 2:40 is delicious.

Has Casey Sibosado written all over him.
He was meant to be the next Buddy???
Didn't you know? If you're tall, athletic and an ethnic minority you'll definitely be a superstar!

Re: News Sudanese-born Daw gets scholarship

If he's Sudanese, couldn't someone take him as an international rookie?

No, he is a registered player playing in the TAC Cup so can't be an international rookie.

I could be an Australian who left Oz when I was 5 living o/s and never been registered as a player here, that would be an international rookie.

Nothing to do with where you are born.

Re: News Sudanese-born Daw gets scholarship

Never seen this bloke play before and he sure looks raw but I can see something to work with, mostly in the athletic area. He sure can jump and some of his taps are actually quite good. Gives a contest at least, throws himself around. Skills are rather shaky but something to work with. If he were 200cm+ then he'd be worth a fair deal more. At 195cm, whilst he looks like a 210cm monster there, and wins a lot of taps, he'd getting eaten by a Lade or a Sandilands type of ruckman.

Since Meli is playing for Southport, how did EFC do it with him then?

Looks amazingly unskilled, but maybe play as a defensive forward?

Majak Daw-Highlight video

I am not sure if his name has been thrown up in drafting talks yet but judging by this highlights package:

He seems to be quality, particularly his big grabs and good tap work, I don't think Carlton needs any more developing ruckmen, but anyone else reckon their side will take a look?

Re: Majak Daw-Highlight video

Majak Daw

this kid could be anything. Still lots of development and improvement to come but I hope he gets drafted. Doesn't get much of the ball but plays his role very well. Kicked 5 goals in one game.

He'd be a risk but would love to see the Dees take him with our 3rd or 4th round pick.

Re: Majak Daw-Highlight video

He's 193 cm, not tall enough to be a ruckman, and he gets about 2 effective kicks per game. Project player at best.

Re: Majak Daw-Highlight video

First time ive seen anything of him. Looks an exciting prospect. Seems to have great athleticism and hands in a contested situation. Tackling and general intensity looked to be a feature as well.

That being said even i would look good in a 5minute highlight package.

193cm?? Id be interested in his capacity as a KPD.
