I still can't believe the Maj goal. Kicks it, silence, and then Dennis says Riewoldt is shaken up at the other end. More silence. Dennis says Majak was striding out there. Bruce chimes in with Hugh Jackman wanting Maj in his next movie. Eventually Carey says that was as exciting as you'd see. No replay. if Nic Nat had done it, it would have been tissues needed and on continuous loop.
Reminds me of when Hansen took a great mark against Collingwood (I think) a couple of years back, was running back with the flight of the ball, with Cloke (IIRC) coming the other way. Didn't flinch and took a very brave grab. Dennis and Bruce were have a private joke and didn't even acknowledge it. If Riewoldt had done it, there were have been an avalanche of superlatives.
Speaking of which, Luke Mac went back courageously into a pack of three Tigers last night to spoil a mark...and Dennis's comment was "Lennon very brave there".
It was a disgusting call all night.

Watching the replay there was a major distraction beforehand whereby Sookwoldt (cuz of Crywoldt) bumped heads with Fish and lay down mortally wounded, so when we came back from the ad, we went to that insignificant bump and not the Maj goal.

Anywho...the only thing that would have been better would have been Maj running towards the Northern end...the blue and white.

Unfortunately for Majak, he isn't a forward and needs to play minutes in the ruck to get into the game. That's not going to happen with Goldy at the club.

Still amazed at the non call.

The mark was an absolute ripping grab over the top of Maric, no midget. Then he hits the ground running - ruckmen aren't supposed to do that. Takes a bounce with three Tiger players in pursuit. Bangs it on his foot from inside the square. One bounce and straight through the middle.

Not many players in the competition are capable of pulling off that sequence. One of the goals of the year.
