From what I think happened, INEOS wanted Amorim after the FA Cup, Ashworth pushed to keep ETH in charge, so we signed him to a new deal, and both ETH & Ashworth worked together to get the players we got in.

The season went pairshaped with zero progress happening, they sacked ETH and now the players we have don’t work under Amorim’s system, the guy they wanted and wanted to spend a summer transfer window with, so Ashworth then got the ass as he was wasn’t on the same page as the rest of the board.

We need a proven finisher asap. We really should have atleast scored 1 goal already.

On the game itself, apparently, this has been the first time that Amorim has had a full week of training with the squad and it's showing. Already look much more organised and intensity is quite high atm. Hopefully, they can keep this up for the whole 90 minutes.
