Poor defending and we lose it right at the end. Pressure will start to mount on Ten Hag if we don't improve.

A lot different from the Fergie era which was our greatest. We struggled early on under Fergie and of course didn't win the title in the 70s and 80s although we were very competitive in the 80s winning some FA Cups.

Because some managers have this logic that if you buy a player after the start of the season, he needs 17 training sessions with the first team before he starts games. It’s why Yoro won’t start straight away when he’s back from injury and why we won’t see Ugarte starting matches until the 3rd week of September if we buy him.

****ing stupid. Professional footballers need to “gel” with the team in training sessions before they can start matches. Sad to think that Maguire and Rashford have been at this club for years and they still can’t gel with their teammates.

Rashford's role needs to be limited to a super sub type role (hopefully, the next manager will just sell him). Someone who can come in fresh late in the game and cheat forward as many times as possible against tired legs to make a positive impact. He simply has nothing else to offer us.

As for Maguire, it's kinda hilarious that ETH wants to play with a high defensive line and yet, he still picks the worst defender we have for the job.

I feel like the quality/suitability of the squad overall has improved but we are being held back by ETH's stubborness/cluelessness.

Maguire had an opportunity to just clear the ball for the first goal, then for some reason he turns and looks behind him instead of focussing on the Brighton player with the ball. The sooner that Maguire, Rashford, McTominay and Sancho **** off, the better.
 
You watch our shambles, then see what City and Arsenal do, and go “yep, we’re finishing 20+pts behind those 2 again”.

If we go into Liverpool starting Maguire, Rashford and Bruno upfront I don’t care how early in the season it is, ETH has to go, let RVN take over.

Only to sign RVN permanently after a 6 week interim period where we win most games, only to discover a month later than he’s also pretty shit. Can’t wait.
