We’ve all just got to hope this works out, 10 years of shitness lowers your expectations and standards, just seeing us play a good style of football would be amazing right now.

I guess if you want to look at positives, this is a manager appointed under INEOS for the first time, and I do believe they went through solid planning privately about who they wanted to succeed ETH. In the past, we’ve sacked a manager without a plan and then been taken for a ride not knowing who we’re getting. This time around we sacked a manager, and instantly went and got the man we wanted.

Do we think Amorim will bring his 3-4-3 to United? How will that work with our players?

Onana

Yoro De Ligt Martinez

Dalot Ugarte Mainoo Shaw (new LB)

Amad Rasmus Garnacho

That would be my 3-4-3 anyway.

Looks good. Though, I'd have Maz as our RB and Dalot probably fills in at LB for now.

Feel like we have 4 huge holes in our team atm:
1. Lack of a quality finisher (Hojlund will be very good in the future but we need quality now).
2. Lack of a quality right winger. Garnacho should be LW permanently. Amad might step up and fill this need.
3. Lack of a quality creative CM. Probably the highest priority atm.
4. Need a quality left back. Amass/Fernandez might be good future prospects?

Also, maybe we can use Zirkzee like how Pool use Diaz/Gakpo. Rotate between wing and a forward. Try something to find him a role where he can contribute atleast.

Nice to get a win after a tough time lately for us. Nice start for Ruud.

We need to make sure we get it right with the appointment of the next manager.

Do we know which staff he is bringing?

If his current assistant is coming too it's unlikely RvN stays.

Believe he is bringing 3 with him, Ruud will have a spot if he and they wants him to stay I suspect.

I think Amorim is bringing his staff with him but I’d like RVN to stay, the man was a clinical finisher, I know we’ve had issues with finishing but it’d be good if he stuck around to work with Rasmus, Zirkzee, Garnacho etc

I hope gets made official soon and Amorim won’t be managing Sporting for the next 3 games as the media have suggested. Get him over to Manchester this week.
Within the clause he is required to stay at least 30 days once the clause has been trigger before he leaves.

That and Amorim might try and bring Viktor Gyokeres who's been banging in goals for him.
