my mother's boss is mark coughlan's uncle and has said that mark coughlan wants out of tigerland...he wants to go to a successful club that has a chance of winning a premiership in the not too distant future.

it is only what i have heard so there is no need to haul a barage of abuse in my direction.

RIPJD

If this is a troll....you got me,
If not, I personally wouldn't miss Coggy.
Coggy's always thought the sun revolves around him.
Hope the club packs his bag and gets a good deal.
We won't miss him.
IMO.

If that's true, then your mum's boss is a monkey's uncle.

:)Wouldn't imagine a guy who has missed the bettr part of three seasons in the last four years would be in any position to be demanding a trade to a successful club.

IMO, the Tigers have looked after Cogs sensationally well given he has rarely taken the field of battle.

Additionally, I don't think there would be a great deal of interest in a guy from opposition clubs who has undergone two knee reconstructions and battled OP previously!!

Taking a huge risk taking him on!

We were going to try to trade him last year but he refused to go, said he wanted to be a tiger so for now, I call bullshit.

well what club would look at him seriously at the moment? he should concerntrate with getting a game 1st. hope its not true.

Bad time to trade him wouldn't have any value coming back from a knee reco keep him for a season try and run him back into form and then if he still wants to leave get a deal that we should for him.

Yeah, well my dad's workmate's sister's son has a friend who's brother's best mate once met Mark Coughlan at a RFC function and said that he wasn't going anywhere. I know who I'd rather believe.

he would get a rude shock i would imagine - not many people will care he won a B & F in 2003 - except richmond supporters.

a great player - but shit he has a lot do to be any sort of player now. i would rate luke darcy as a harder worker, and proffesional unit - and 2 reco's got the better of him - will be lucky to earn a spot in our side's midfield next season - as he was never the quickest fella to begin with

LOL @ some of these responses. What you see on the telly, in the newspaper and on the radio is what you get. How would any of you know how hard Mark works behind the scenes? How do you know for sure he wanted to be traded/we wanted to trade him? You don't.

Oh and Brown will be back next week.

Give me a break.

With all due respect.....how would you know otherwise to contradict this opening thread?
If you can't confirm to the negative, all we've got is this thread....bs or not.
Cheers

Luke Darcy is and was the wrong side of 30, Cogs is in his prime.

whether this is true or not who cares

if teh rfc has any kinds balls, they will delist or trade cogs anyway

slow, poor skills and injury prone

most overrated player in afl

Go back to sleep mate. Absolute rubbish. The only thing i'll agree with there is the injury prone part. The rest is pure crap!

Cogs has got plenty of time on his side. By the time we are playing finals again he will be fully fit (barring another injury) and will be an important part of out midfield.

rubbish good mates with cogs best mate
and cogs loves richmond
loves victoria
and will play there forever

To give him his dues, he did injure his knee playing football for us, and reinjured it training with us. I think minimum wage is a bit harsh, but you are obviously not going to pay him top dollar.

He said Moderate, not minimum.

I agree but I'd put him on performance based as well to reward him if he does perform well again.

Has he been signed up yet?

Saw an interview with him about 6 weeks ago and he said the club had yet to offer him a contract for next year.
