Hutch had another solid hitout and is pushing for senior selection. I'd love to see him come in for Priddis.

With a disposal efficiency of 66.1% in 2013 compared to Matt Priddis' 66.5%, I'd say he nailed that last year. His helicopters don't spin right yet though and his hair is all wrong.

A man who is meticulous with everything he does, Hutchings had an exceptional pre-season and was a shining light in the NAB Challenge series.

My boy right there!

.. against an opposition with a strong midfield running brigade, Hutchings is a necessity, particularly given his WAFL form.

Yep, seems to be troubling him a little bit, Simpson said it was a more longer term injury but is on track, other than that he hasn't elaborated on it much.

Hutchings is available for selection this week but he'll most likely be given a run in the WAFL before getting selected. Although East Perth do have a bye this week so that's unfortunate timing.

Hutchings' first game back for East Perth in the WAFL, he started off slowly but finished with 23 possessions and a goal, looked like a class above the other mids too. Hopefully he can make a push for senior selection soon.

A below standard performance for Hutchings this week, just didn't really impact the game and missed a crucial goal when the team needed it. He's a good depth player but is under pressure of being dropped.

With Priddis out for the QF against Hawthorn, Hutchings stood up and collected 24 disposals and kicked the goal to put the game out of Hawthorn's reach.
