West Coast fans seem to be the only ones who think Seaby for 26 is a fair deal, everyone else realises he isn't worth anything inside the top 30, at least.

Pick 26 could be a good player or it could be a complete flop. A guy did a thread on the draft board and 2nd round picks actually have a pretty low success rate... like 35% or something whereas with Seaby you know you are going to get a pretty decent ruckman for 100+ games or so - so I would think its a very fair deal, more than fair IMO you are getting very good value.

Maybe in earlier drafts, but not this draft in the context of it being the last draft before GC and WS tampers with it.

Forget Seaby's 08 form, go back and watch his highlights from 06/07 seasons and you will see he is a top line Ruckman and a very handy tall forward option and although his kicking looks clumsy he is a dead eye dick in front of the post's.
