Jessica's was the best by far. Despite the botched appearance (who cares) it still won. I would have gone into a flavour coma.

Go Jessica! I didn't think it looked that bad. She hasn't learned yet you always act like that's how it's meant to look. The combination in that dish sounded absolutely yummy. The girl can really cook.

I'm happy enough she won, at least it wasn't the 3 spoons with a bit of cream from Georgia! I just prefer the others as I hate figs lol

Jessica's dish sounded absolutely amazing. Blue cheese and caramel = winning.
prediction - Jessica eliminated next. she has had her high and time to bump her off unfortunately. it will be the battle of the robots Billie and Reynold though it would be hilarious if the blonde burner gets in the finale
I love figs. When they are really fresh they are unbeatable - they have just a very unique and sophisticated taste.
When cooked correctly (see Jessica's dessert) they are just brilliant.

Georgia's dessert was super average by the way. She made lemon meringue, curd and a wafer in tiny spoon sizes in 90 mins?? waht? The only creative part of that was serving it on some wooden spoons; everything else about it was pedestrian. She made a lemon meringue pie type dish before as well and the judges questioned her creativity.
Billie's was pretty creativity but to be honest I thought it was kinda ugly. Reynold's looked good but didn't appeal to me as much as Jessica's.

Grilled figs are delicious as well as fig jam. OMG beetroot is my favourite vegetable, love cooking with it. Lol at Jessica putting the ice cream on the wrong dish. Her dish did look good, then Reynold's, Billie's and Georgia's. I don't know why a couple didn't cook mains. Reynold's plating is amazing.
