Wowza. I’ll try and catch the Kenin match, not sure whether Sabalenka had a horrible day or Kenin was peeking or maybe a bit of both. But regardless, nice to see Kenin get some big wins. I like watching her play with that attractive aggressive game. Osorio great win, Martic is tricky. From saving MP in R1 to now into the third round which will give her ranking a much needed boost. And as for Pegula, wow, just when you thought she was super consistent, she has a stinker like that.
I’ve avoided Potapova’s score all day and watching now so hopefully she can get up!

Far out, what a battle for Potapova! 6-4, 6-4, looks straight forward, was anything but. She played pretty average, loose errors, blown leads, but Cocciaretto was redlining several times with obviously the whole crowd supporting her. Loved her “sit dow“ gestures to the crowd after she won, it riled them right up!
Tonight’s OOP is insane. Too much I want to watch, no way I’m fitting in a third of what I want to catch.

Robbie Koenig on the beIN sports feed. Wow, first time I’ve heard him all year outside of the AO. This is incredible, reminds me of the late 00’s, early to mid 2010’s masters!

Hmmmm, not sure. This is so tight. Poppy played a great point to get it back to deuce then nets a lame BH return then a terrible forehand drive volley into the net. That’s a chance right there.
