We spudded that quarter up something awful.
Being level at half time is a great result.
Still confident as long as we unspud ourselves at half time.

Good contest. Silly, silly turnovers leading to hawks shots on goals. Some panicked shots at goal for us too which really should see us up by a goal or two. Hard to tell at the ground but jack and Kennedy seem to be the standouts so far. White has been involved in some good chains. Macca working hard. Defence still doing a great job despite being undersized. Unfortunately we just don't have the pace on the rebound. On the flip side. Hawks have done it to us a few times. GCB85 reporting live from M6.

Im not sure what to make of it and i cant look impartially
Part of me thinks great absorbing game and we have a lot of upside
But the other thinks we are keeping it tight holding them up and they can turn it on again like last week

If we let them into it with turnovers we'll be in trouble. That much is certain. We need to keep it tight all the way and try to open the fwd line isolating Tippo or White

We are setting it up nicely for a jetta to come in when its tight and take over if and its a big massive if IF he can bloody well play at his best

If he and Kennedy keep at it the possessions and space will start to get cleaner for them.
Preferably I want them to get the ball in space, run at Gibson, kick it into his face, grab the rebound, laugh at him and then keep going. That would be nice.

Shut up Dermie give Hanners some respect. Says Hanners cant run with Smith as Smith is twice the runner, stay tuned to the second half flog watch for classic Hanners gut running.

Yeah easily our best. When I'm at games I really underestimate how much Kennedy does. Close-up cameras around stoppages show just how ****ing good he is.
Richards, Grundy, Rampe and Smith have been very solid as well. Hawks goals/forward entries have come from superb disposal on their part or turnovers on our part, big wraps on our back 6 so far.

Can safely say fast becoming some of the biggest loudmouth flogs in football. Bitching when called for holding the ball after the umpire held his whistle for a good 5 seconds yet squealing for holding the ball as soon as our players get a hand to the ball. Muppets.
