Just win a lot, have a great culture and build a club that players want to go to and you get high draft picks banging down your door looking for a contract.

News flash sunshine, the topping up/trading up first and second round picks for established stars ruined Carlton for years/decades.
Frankly I am delighted the club is finally starting to investing in youth instead of giving up decent picks for recycled players.
This topping up policy under Chris Scott will come back to burn Geelong on the clacker
