For those of you that think you can say what you like on the internet under a cloak of anonymity check out this article and think before posting.
You missed a bit of action earlier. The thread is squeaky clean now. Good job mods.Doesn't seem to be particularly relevant to the thread though. Most posters here seem to be saying that 'whoever' did this needs to be caught and dealt with - no one is being named. Very difficult to take action against someone for that...

Can a person sue retrospectively?
If so Luke Jericho and Ian Perrie may be millionaires if they ever read this forum.
he may of hit his head as he fell.
I was at the Schutzenfest one year when they still had glass steins. A guy hit another guy with the stein to the temple, the stein smashed and the guy started pissing blood, it was gushing everwhere, I have no idea how the guy managed to stand. He eventually fell and it wasnt a pretty sight, the guy was in some serious trouble, we had to leave the scene because the girls we were with were physically sick.
I saw on the news a couple of days later that the guy had a fractured skull and was mm away from brain damage or death, so I guess it is possible to fracture a skull with a glass bottle but as others said it would have to be a heavy duty bottle.
Yeah I reckon it is one of the most overrated days on Adelaides social calender.I was there and saw it happen as well. That was the last schutzenfest for me. It used to be a very chilled cool day of drinking and then over a couple of years it got more and more crowded and you started getting the flannelette crowd rocking up just to get drunk and fight.
I also got randomly attacked by 5-7 guys a couple of months ago but escaped any real damage and ended up unconcious for a few minutes and got about 80 stitches to my head.

I had a mate on the weekend, get knocked unconcious and kicked by a group of guysm had his teeth knocked out broken nose and had to have an operation to insert metal plates into his jaw.
Tough blokes attacking a guy who is on his own and then kicking him when he is on the ground, there are some real heroes out there.
Not exactly sure as I wasnt there but as I understand it, there was a verbal exchange or something between these guys and one of his mates, he tried to calm things down and he just copped it.
