The track at the bool is flipping disgraceful!

Get to the front on the fence and it’s over.

Race 1 - 3rd horse 10L off
Race 2 - 5L winner
Race 3 - 9L winner

Don’t even think these horses are anything special

The one carnival I don't bet at. Quality isn't good. Save your money folks.

would like to go to the bool carnival one year.

No one I know really likes a punt enough though, sucks.

Be weird going by myself. (The races would be good but after at the pub by yourself would be sad)

On SM-S908E using BigFooty.com mobile app

I went one year when the government were threatening to ban the jumps racing. Dad and his mates rent a house out down there every year. And that is pretty much what it is, a 3 day piss up for 50-60 year olds.

I honestly think the Warrnambool carnival is overrated now. With the lack of jumps racing now, it’s lost in uniqueness. It’ll soon be like Oakbank. A race meeting that’s locked into a time of the year that no one cares about or wants to bet on.

Serious question, how many jumps races did they used to have over the 3 day carnival? I count 7 this year and I don't remember there being any more than that over the last 4-5 years but I don't remember any further back than that.

You can't replicate the Grand Annual, but I think the bool carnival is more than just racing anyway. The point of it being this time of year is that there is nothing else on I assume

Not sure if my memory is hazy or not, but I can remember when there was only the two steeple races. The 1.5 lap on the Tuesday and the 2.5 lap main race on the Thursday. I know the Gallywood Hurdle was introduced in the mid 90s.

Next big thing from WA,Bustling going around in lolperf G3 tomorrow.
Only questions I have, how sensational will the sectionals be?
How much will it win by?
How much will its odds get wound in for The Everst?
No question about the 1400,looked like it was gagging for it last start.
SB 51 to 34

Edit: PB still 61/16 15 min after race, will take a small piece.

Auguste Rodin did the same before turning it around in the Derby
Air Force Blue also did the same before never turning it around.

Auguste Rodin is a complete head case and definitely not the standard. I wouldn't be expecting City of Troy to turn things around stepping up to the Derby personally

Someones offered massive coin for one of Sydneys main trainers to station over here in W.A apparently. Think its Anabeal Neasham

Something brewing investment wise but no one really knows exactly what that is at this stage.

Neasham has around 330 horses in NSW already, would have to be a massive offer I reckon

Yeah those horses ain’t coming just the person to set up a new training stable/camp.

I got a feeling this is Singapore money being re routed to W.A or the like so expect it isn’t now now but more of a 2025 thing .
