I would now like to acknowledge Mcveigh he is now a AFL star.I have been critical of his ability and guts in big games but last night he was OUTSTANDING.16 1st possies and 8 clearences thats stats that even gary ablett wouldn't get.
He now deserves to wear the #3 jumper.
McHack no longer,only in jest

He can still go missing occasionally, but a great season so far!

I reckon he has learnt to break/cope with a tag, but just IS NOT GOOD at being asked to tag! It helps his game when the opposition try to tag Kirk out of it!

Is an outside player who is only 24, ....he is ahead of Kirk at that age!!!

But "tradeability" would be at an all time high atm!:D

Would it be fair to say that was probably McVeigh's toughest performance?
Fantastic.
NOW it's fair to label this is breakthrough season ... massive effort in a big finals game win.
And he handled himself well on the Sunday Footy Show this morning, being interviewed by self-important idiots who barely listened to any answers he gave.

Yep, I feel the same.

I know your sig applies to Jimmy, but it's been getting dangerously close to applying to McVeigh, as well!

He is better as an 'outside' midfielder, hence the accusations of softness in the past (and why he doesn't seem as suited to tagging), but he now has the skills and the endurance. Though with McVeigh, it's still important that he keeps putting in the effort as he's a confidence player and the bandwagon will decline pretty quickly if his form drops off!!

I referred to McV as McCape last year, as in Swans superhero, though many disagreed at the time, i notice you jumping on board now.
Im just glad he's playing like a demon, because all you McVeigh haters can now go eat your shorts.

Yeah I know. I wonder how many people on here assume so.

He was "McFeast" against the Poohs. While he was still favoring one leg when picking himself up off the mat last week, needs to perform against an elite team. The Doggies will do, for now.
