The preseason is a while back now, but from what i remember he was happy to put his head over it. Certainly didnt look like a problem.

Congrats to timmy mac, played footy with him in the O&M a few years back.
He nominated for 2007 draft and was overlooked cos of his height (was fairly short as a 17yo) and he had lower back problems in junior years.
Great bloke has worked extremely hard to make an AFL list and i hope he becomes a great AFL player for you guys.

Had a couple of "almost" plays, and 2 goals. Good game.

One where he was pushed in the back by Chaplin, then got up, tacked Chaplin holding the ball, and the (non) advantage paid to someone else who butchered a pass... that made me angry.

Was decent. I love his tackling just needs to be able to impact a contest when he is behind. That will come, could be very handy.

Good 1st game. Will take a while to find his feet but he will be worth it

I noticed the same thing about him tonight I noticed in the preseason - he doesn't look like a debutant. Maybe it's because he's a touch older than most debutants, maybe because he's built like a tank considering his size, but he just looks like he believes he belongs out there. Goes straight at the ball when we're in possession, tackles ferociously when we're not. I like him very much

We just need to figure out where we'll play him. Perhaps we can have the luxury of playing Callinan through the middle/wing?
