anyone else read the word homesick in that OP?
Yes but he also said he wasnt loving his time at collingwood, just missing his family.

Not saying gee wiz i wish i was playing for freo in that wonderful purple/gree/white strip they wear

WAs prety limited when he first got here last year - ball handling and evasive skills looked ordinary. Has really improved to where he's becoming a quality mid in the rotations which is invaluable. Also I didn't know how short he is, from memory he's listed as the 2nd shortest on the list above Leon or maybe Lockyer.

Re: Medhurst and Reid for Tarrant was the Steal of the Century!

as much as i like the monkey boy, we have not missed him at all. ill take pick 8 back however
Let's face it, Collingwood receiving Ben Reid and Paul Medhurst for Chris Tarrant has so far been the steal of the century. Tarrant had a terrible final season at Collingwood which led to the trade, yet his stats last year were even worse! He went backwards! Less kicks, less marks and less goals than in 2006. Mick Malthouse is very shrewd, and he knew that players that he is prepared to trade very rarely become better players after they leave the club, and Tarrant is a perfect example of this.

Freo were sucked in by his performance in one good season that was out of character for Tarrant that resulted in All-Australian selection, and Paul Medhurst has been terrific and has definitely performed better at Collingwood than Tarrant has had Fremantle, while Ben Reid has been very promising as well. If Freo were offered Medhurst and Reid for Tarrant at the end of last season, they would have agreed in a second, and since then Tarrant has played yet another dreadful shocker.
Look up who you are playing in round 22 then come back to me to give me maths advice champ
My prediction after Round 21 is that Freo will be at least a couple of games outside the top-8, while Collingwood is safely entrenched in the top-4 with an MCG final in the first week. The Round 22 match won't have any significance because Collingwood will be thinking about the finals so therefore leaving a number of players back in Melbourne, while Freo will be thinking about who they will be drafting, and how on earth they can get rid of Tarrant.

you make no sense, I've told you your playing us round 22, yet you still go on about that you may not. YOU ARE!!!, and just so you know, last time you played us at subica you guys went home with a 117 point loss, just wish you guys came over here more often.[/QUOTE]

We don't play you again do we?:p

Lucky you can win at home cause you can't win anywhere else.

Your premiership window is about 1 o'clock, so you better start rebuilding. We could swap you a forward (Toovey) for pick 8 and a dynamite goal sneak.
