Re-checked the guide just incase I stuffed it, but it says GF for both
I was just offering my opinion on their selections. I definitely believe your listing. :)

Just tuned in thinking 'wow, I don't remember us coming back in this game'. Watched a quarter of horrible football waiting for the surge. Not the most fun I've had.

This is frustrating. How is it even possible to mix them up. How hard could it have been to have played the right game? Check the results you fox spuds

Im definitely doubling down on my "one of these things is not like the others" comment then, because that was the one that already seemed out of place as far as historic wins go!

Was at that game sitting in the hot sun and we were hammered, Lost Rich early. Poor effort from FF to remind us

I was sitting in the sun as well, it was an awful day, especially when Rich went down.

To make things worse, we had four loud, obnoxious Yanks sitting behind us, they were pure bandwagon Suns supporters yelling out "Get Some" and "Lions Suck" regularly. Naturally, I died a little bit inside that day.

Brisbane Lions set to offer coach Justin Leppitsch contract extension

BRISBANE Lions coach Justin Leppitsch will soon be awarded a single-year extension on a contract set to run out at season’s end.

The Herald Sun understands the Lions are working through the details of a deal that will give him security until 2017, aware of a horror early fixture.

In the first eight weeks of the year Brisbane faces the cream of the crop — West Coast (away), North Melbourne, Geelong (away), the Western Bulldogs (away), Sydney and Port Adelaide (away).

There is a feeling it would be impossible to ward off a feeding frenzy regarding Leppitsch’s future if the Lions dropped a batch of early games.

But Brisbane believes it will be much improved this year and also believes Leppitsch has huge improvement despite his recent battles.

He was accused of grabbing Brisbane Lions youngster Zac O’Brien by the throat and lost the trust of some senior players including Jack Redden, who left for West Coast.

The Brisbane premiership defender has won only 11 games in his two seasons since returning to coach the club and is aware he must improve in key areas.

On his track record so far Leppitsch is clearly not deserving of an extension past this year.

But with clubs aware of the constant speculation on an out-of-contract coach, leaving him hanging would be a recipe for disaster.

Leppitsch is on what is considered one of the AFL’s more modest contracts for a senior coach.

He would be paid out his full salary if he was still sacked by season’s end, but that would not be a savage financial toll.

The Lions are keen to give him the best possible chance to succeed and believe contract security will help.

The Lions lost 280 games to injury last year with star trio Tom Rockliff, Pearce Hanley and Dayne Beams playing only three games together — Rounds 15, 16, and 18.

Already no. 2 draft pick Josh Schache has impressed on the training track, kicking four goals last week on Daniel Merrett in a hugely impressive hour-long trial game.

The club’s only real injury concern is a foot fracture to lively small forward Josh Green, who will be touch and go for Round 1.

Leppitsch told the AFL website recently he was not fussed by his contract position.

“My personal situation (contract) is something I’m not that worried about to be perfectly honest,” Leppitsch he said.

“I see this as a 10-year job, so whatever happens with the (fine print) right now will happen. For me it’s about building the club back to a superpower.”
