Rivers coming 2nd is hopefully a misprint, but then again it just proves how shit the Demons were this year.

Get stuffed. Apart from the Pies game Rivers was fantastic for us this year and while I didn't pick him to finish so high in the count it's ridiculous to pot the bloke. Was far better, for the whole season, than many, many others were this year. So shut your face.

Congrats to Beamer, apart from a few poor games he was terrific this year and led from the front. Very, very worthy winner.

Here are the full votes for the year... interesting to see that dirty, scummy dog barely cracked the Top 20. We don't need him. Can't believe Green polled more votes than McKenzie but then he did only start his season in Round 9.

You're quick on the up TMS

Top points for persistence, the identical avatar is a giveaway though. Maybe there is a genuine non-flog footy fan hiding somewhere in there??
Maybe he's a Buddhist poster, with many reincarnations - each better than the last.

Can we please in future switch to a system where you don't get votes just for turning up. The fact that Wonaeamirri, Dunn, Warnock, Maric and Morton even pole a vote is a laugh. And then you see Juice has 4 votes, presumably for kicking 2 goals in the first quarter against North.

That's more than most players that day...

Agreed, should be a 5,4,3,2,1 on concensus from the voting group or something like that. F#cking hate the voting system, it's like under 10s & they think some players will get upset if they don't get a vote.

Shows how bad the club rated Morton's year though, he played 15 games & only polled ahead guys who played at most 7 game (Bate) or were first year players & rookie list guys. Same goes for Davey, played 11 games & only above 1 or 2 guys who played a similar number of games.

While Green finished 11th, that was only 1 vote to Jordie(15 games) & 31 votes in front all of Jurrah, Petterd, Gys, Bartram, last 3 only played 15 games & Jurrah 18 games. CBF doing full aggregate, but fair to say Green slide waaaay down based on votes per game.

But, highlights the big efforts from guys like Garland (18 games) & Jamar (15) to poll so well.

Ok last one, but the best one - Mark Neelds speech on the night.
