Hi, I'm in Div 8 of the main Supercoach League Board, with a 2012 SC ranking verified at 2,145 (Victorious Secret).
I would like to join the Melbourne League thanks (ID = 68).
How are we going for numbers?
We will go close to filling 4 leagues by round one.
I don't know if I mentioned this but I think I did somewhere but we should look at 'league captains' they will report on their league each week. We will also have a thread for each league/Div & a main thread.
Don't think many other boards will have four leagues going.
A thread will soon be created on the SuperCoach Board, outlining every league, player and team, how the competition will work, the draw, and so on. This thread will be updated weekly, along with a ladder and 'Brownlow Medal' votes.
I will also be providing this information on a club-by-club basis on individual boards to keep your board in the loop. Please promote these championships on your own board as you look to take down the other clubs!
Matches will start in Round 3 and run unto Round 19, as per the SuperCoach league season. Rounds 20 to 23 will be finals.
As a taster, here is the draw for the opening round - feel free to paste this in the relevant thread on your club board!
Quote:
Round 1
Eagles SC v Blues SC, Subiaco Oval
Magpies SC v Bombers SC, Victoria Park
Lions SC v Cats SC, The Gabba
Giants SC v Demons SC, Blacktown Stadium
Tigers SC v Dockers SC, Punt Road Oval
Hawks SC v Kangaroos SC, Glenferrie Oval
Saints SC v Power SC, Moorabbin Oval
Crows SC v Suns SC, Football Park
Bulldogs SC v Swans SC, Whitten Oval
The draws for SuperCoach and Dream Team leagues are identical but mirrored (that is, in Round 1 the Eagles SC meet Blues SC at Subiaco, whilst Blues DT host Eagles DT at Princes Park).
Match scoring is as follows:
1. All 18 teams from both leagues in a match are sorted into seeds in order from the highest rank after the previous round to the lowest.
2. Then 18 'mini matches' are played, with team going up against team.
3. The club board with the most 'mini matches' won that round wins the match and records a win for their board.
This is a fair way to conduct scoring and means leagues with a player who doesn't maintain their team are not too disadvantaged.
Haha the draw was done randomly but it worked out well for the angry Dees.GWS gonna get smash rd1
Hold it there, there is a glitch with the process of finding your own individual ID.Now once division 1 is sorted, i have to get your user id's to place you in the SC board league.
This is going to be a nightmare.

The captain is still able to do it via the team ladder, any other process looks as though it is not accurate.
I may wait until Round 1 to collect them.
No, but if you are the league creator you can find them via your league ladder. If you hover over the 'remove team' X (don't left click it), or right click it, the ID is the number at the end of the link. What purpose do those numbers have SJ and how do you use them. Cant i just give you the league number?

I will use them to 'scrape' each team's weekly score and ranking without having to do it manually. It will make the scoring process (almost) automatic.
If you are the league creator and haven't left the league yet you will be able to see them. If you leave and rejoin I think you lose that privilege. Now that i know that should be easy. Thanks.
Just a quick question what happens if im not a player in that league. Even though i create and will be a player for a short amount of time, will i still be able to see those numbers?
I'll join. I was in Div 1 last year and finished around the middle of the pack I think. Can't find 2011 SC to get a pic.
Groves' Gremlins.
