Man I'm disliking Dean "throw your hands up in the air" Cox more and more lately

Can play, but **** me he plays for frees
Always has... My favourite was a few years ago in a ruck contest against Brogan he lost the tap only to turn and look at the umpire to complain and the umpire magically gave him a free kick....

He didn't know? What sort of rubbish excuse is that to not give 50 there? Does that suggest that they only penalize players when they think they're deliberately ignoring the free kick?

Well there's a rule intepretation I didn't know about.

Apparently it's OK to kick the ball away well after the whistle has gone if you didn't know. Not sure how an umpire knows what the player knows though.

They've had that ability for ages when adjudicating the deliberate out of bounds rule.

probably helped that there is no way watts deserved a free kick

Probably the worst 93pt win you'll ever see. Melbourne matched West Coast after quarter time. Their finding space by foot was good. I can see what Roos is doing, Melbourne look promising.

If Melbourne knew how to score, would have been a lot closer. West Coast great in first quarter, but Melbourne looked good in play after that point.

Matt Rosa could be mounting a smokey Brownlow campaign.
