It’s not much of a milestone these days as the AFL changed the rules and count everything as a membership. Even comparisons between clubs or years is hard because you could go from 40k x 11 game membership +5k x 6 game 5k x 3 game to 20k x 11, 20k x 6, 20k x 3 and it looks like you’ve improved when you haven’t.

Now they are even doing cheap Kayo membership in Vic to pump up those fake numbers.

The measure must be how much is the total membership fees collected per club.
Is this even available?
Vic fans dont have to to buy season tickets, can always get a seat.
As for babies..and dogs etc...

The data is buried in club financials but they all report things slightly differently and it would take a long time to get all the info. There is some good stuff on the Footy Industry sub board but it is really hard to tell if it is apples and apples.

Clubs with pokies also distorts it as they have higher revenue and maybe social club memberships to their pokie dens?

Wait a day or two and you can select leftover seats manually. If it's high demand you usually can't choose.

Just gotta hope there's seats available.
Nope, still not working...Ticketmaster still deciding my seats which is always near where the opposition cheer squad is rather than where I typically like to sit which is in level 3 behind the goals, which there are still plenty of tickets available when you try booking it without entering the membership numbers...:mad:

Cheap Kayo with a Bulldogs digital only membership. Come on Freo, I'd be all over this.
Can you explain how this is meant to work? Does my money go to the club and not to Rupert?

Your money goes to Footscray and they give you a year subscription code.

I'm assuming their money goes to Rupert
Which I suppose will be at wholesale price. I’m so desperate to watch freo games in nsw, I’m considering it. I was going to get interstate membership this year as they are coming to Nsw twice - I wish the club would do something like this for plebs like us outside WA.

I emailed the team a while ago about this and there are definitely no plans for one this year and probs not next year either.

I'd jump on it as it's the cheapest going around

It worked for me when I went on to their website just then. Maybe try again?

Nope, still not allowing me to choose where I want to sit after punching in my membership numbers to "unlock members tickets"...I'd be grateful if you can show me the way you managed to do it...

Nominations are open for members* to be a part of the Member Advisory Forum. Anybody interested in being a part of it?

* only available to members who can attend meetings in Perth, despite members being "...selected from a cross section of the Club’s membership base, with a mixture of membership categories, membership lengths, demographics and ages".

Is there any evidence of the board lever istening to the "advisory" forum?

Bit silly that they don't allow remote members to participate. Hardly a bloody cross section of membership then is it!

I know one person who's been involved in the past and apparently they do.

What would you even say?

"Don't trade for expensive duds."
"Why do Banfield and Hughes get a game each week?"
"Plant some ******* grass on the bank at Cockburn."

I'd need 3 minutes and I'd be done for the year.
“Can you move the people I don’t like that sit near me”

“All freagles to be banned for the derby”

that’s me done

Not sure where to put this - new thread opp

I’m heading to Melb game at the G in a few weeks

How best to organise tickets in the freo fans / interstate members area?

Would also happily hold up the banner if that’s ever available!
