oh yeh right, what's the ones called for the thighs?
Not squats but where you sit down and do the curly thingy, looks like he's kept the legs super strong doing them

Leg extensions.:thumbsu:
Though i wouldn't recommend much for Menzel if he wished to keep his pase.

Have they improved the rehabilitation with these knee injuries? players seem to be able get back nearly all of their original mobility these days don't they?

I'd play him in the seniors, might get the sub vest a bit in the early games.
To answer your question go to youtube and type in David Wojcinski to see how well players come back from knee reco's these days

how many brothers have Geelong had play at the same time?
Hocking's, Ablett's, Mooney's, ?

I thought the Houlihan's played together at some point
How can you forget the greatest set of brothers to play for the hoops the Malakellis'...... or was that the Lords it's easy to get them confused ;)

What about Harry?

Im a big fan of Harrys but man love is not quite it.
Gotta have the looks to go with it I reckon, hence why guys like T-Bone and Selwood and Jimmeh get a mention.
But really all of em! Oh and Dom Gleeson, massive fan of this bloke.
Another CSH moment but when me and my mate at the B&F got a bit more drunk to the point of asking for photos in the foyer we asked Dom, at first he looked around like we were asking someone else and then double checked that we meant HIM. We said yes and he said "really? Are you sure??". Such a humble down to earth bloke.

Shame Kev had a dose of the Nathan's about him. Saw him set the grass alight in the ressies, one day. Would have left Wojo in a cloud of dust.

Funny how few top-class pairs.
Does anyone remember the Coodabeens' Dud Brothers Team?

did you see Bruce Nankervis play Fred ?
if so; what was your opinion ?
racked up 250ish games from memory, but is rarely spoken of.

Eason & Hardiman brothers were probably the best of that lot AFAIK, based purely on anecdotal evidence ..

Yes, very good attacking HBF, very under-rated.
On that list, of the ones I saw, Lords, Nankervises and Hockings were best.

My first Cats jumper as a kid - i was about 6 - had Bruce Nankervis on it. He was special.

Go Catteres

what was Mick Turner like during his entire career?

I'm currently editing a stack of vintage 80's matches and he's a bloody damn good player.
I knew he was good but some of his runs he's been doing and the goals from all angles are brilliant.
From I seen so far, he's like a mixture of Riccardi/Johnson/Bairstow as in he had pretty insane speed, mercurial attributes and then the ball winning ability of Bairstow.
He's taken a heap of good marks as well

not sure why he's not often spoken about more highly and in the same breath as Hocking, Couch and our current champions

Well, my mum used to repeatedly tell me that he wasn't as good as his father. But I think she had a bit of a crush on Leo.
Mick was a very good player, very fast, agile, good overhead and a good high mark for his size. A long kick, but not always accurate (Murdoch immediately reminded me of Turner with his propensity to spray them not just OOB, but 20 metres into the crowd). Used to get a lot of the ball for a wingman, but not as much as the centreman Bairstow. More mercurial and a better overall player, but arguably less consistent than Riccardi.
Some might also say that both during and after his career, he has also been a dead-set drongo, but that's another issue.
