Paul Daffey is releasing a book this week on country footy called The Totem Poles of Ouyen United.
It is "an exploration of the many clubs that have folded into one another to form the Ouyen United footy club" as well as the Mid Gippsland league, the Inglewood and Wedderburn region, where I stand in a paddock where the mighty Woosang footy club once played, "the Peninsula competition’s extraordinary Grand Final between Sorrento and Pines" and Brad Hartigan, who has played in an unfeasible number of premiership teams. There is also a list of every country footballer to have played in more than six premiership teams.
