both teams are coming off good wins this past weekend, looks to be a challenge out at todd road for SKC. john o'neill has kept the ground in perfect conditions with his fresh hovermo' doin the trick week in week out...
who are the key players, matchups etc..
and who will win??

are u in the thirds yet?

your performance against xavier in the practice match was close to pitiful. due to injury i made an early exit to the game but from wat i saw, danny from the old hawthorn citizens would be flipping his motorcycle in disgust at ur performance. looks like ur fitness is a key factor to ur improvement and a bit of practice to that deadly right foot of yours wouldnt go astray.
 
SKC shouldn't have much off a problem against the MGS mob. All bias aside after viewing the cordner-eglesten (dont know the name) game at Scotch the other week MGS dont seem to have the endurance and fight in them that will be required in facing the SKC team-oriantated and hard running style of play. The real contest will be in the mighty magoo's. Look out for big performances from Danny Toress whos going for the APS suspension record (whole season) and Patrick 'Desmond' Keely who could unload a kickout over the West Gate Bridge if required.

MGS will definitely have to shut down Skevvies midfield...
the likes of Newman, Mcarthey, Wissell have proved to be very effective midfielders and hard too

will Tama kick that full back in head again??

St Kevins haven't had hard midfielders since the Scott brothers
 
He came back, didnt play his best in the first 2 games, but had a very solid game against G Grammar. One of the hardest players in the Aps if not the hardest.
 
Heard a rumour that Scottie left the school and came back on a half sports scholarship.....and your telling me you guys dont have any scholarships?
 
SKC will smash MGS they got no chance to win it, Cachia will play well, same with Purcelle, so will Newman and Kennedy MGS got NO chance

Ok mate, just wait and see, Skevs are 3-0 only cos they've had a bye, beat geelong grammar and beat a haileybury side who played their 1st game as a team. should be a good game my tip is MGS by 14.

He came back so he could get his VCE certificate and play football, St.Kevins dont offer sports scholarships, they offer academic and music though

Skev's music scholarships are only offered to students already in the college and only cover musical costs.
 
so your're trying to tell me that shaun hargreaves and daniel bailey arent at your school for athletics? they are on sports scholarships its as simple as that. and Hammish nelson who left last year. there are numerous other sports scholarships st kevins give. they are buying there way to the top

Who really cares! This game means nothing' theres no one with the skill of Haslam, and in the end no one wants to watch a game without Haslam!
 
this thread is crap the answer is skevvies the only question is by how much!!

dan bailey and shauny hargreaves r on edmund rice scholarships given out to families to attend st kevins not sporting scholarships they just also happen to be guns at aths!!

being an old boy of the college iv witnessed many edmund rice scholarships they used to be just for people who were good at rugby now its everything

does SHaun play footy? He is the best athlete in the state, I hope he takes up footy if he doesn't already. Would be a star with his pace and athleticism
 
na shauny does the good old cross country gotta love that sport used to dominate that back in the days for SKC!! he got asked to play rugby for skevs but they didnt want to risk him getting injured for aths this year!

hargreaves best athlete in the state? are you kidding me?
please get your facts straight, there are about 20 other kids at least who are better athletes then him

How did Cachia go?
The competition looks very even but Skevs looking very good so far this season.
